This wind turbine was constructed to supply electricity a pond pump in our back yard. Unluckily for me it is in a position that does not catch a lot of wind. The neighbor's trees blocks nearly all of the beneficial air. The only other location it could be is across the yard. I would have to run wires to the pond, if I'm doing that I'm better off just running wires from the house. Our pond is in the back part of the land and needs to be aerated. I have settled on getting a solar panel to power the pump and will be building it as soon as somebody takes this wind turbine off my hands.
