4 chrome- plated steel rims, 1 fits mountain bike, 1 fits 27" road bike, 2 (one laced to a front hub) fit a 26" road bike. No tacos, all are usable.
Use for what? For that "theft-proof" city bike...bomb-proof hula-hoops for a smaller person...kinetic art...sculpture...the only limit is your imagination!
I've been asked about the condition of these rims. As I said above, they are not bent or twisted. If there are any minor dents they can be bent or bludgeoned out (that's the beauty of steel). There are some rust spots (pretty common with steel rims that don't get cared for), but a little oil and steel wool will fix that.
In short, they are usable for a bike...unless, perhaps, you are restoring a 1972 Schwinn Varsity to showroom condition. That may take a bit more effort.
