I have already talked to local tv repair businesses and the estimated repair cost is $150-$450, depending on if it is the mainboard, if some parts need to just be replaced or the power supply. The tv is barely 7 years old. Has worked perfect the whole time. I have already bought another tv, so I just need to get rid of this asap. So for less than $500, you could have a really nice tv.
