2000 Model 1/2 Arabian 1/4 TWH and 1/4 Belgian trail horse with feet to die for. This boy has been barefoot for 6 years and is to the point of needing a farrier once a year and is an easier keeper with only a hay diet. Gravel, asphalt, dirt, hardpan, you name it he has been through, across and over with his feet. Over 2000 hours in the saddle most done in trail riding with some rides being 20 miles or longer. He has had wild life pass under his feet (rabbit and snake), seen wildlife including deer, elk, and coyote. Lives with dogs but does defend his pasture (never injured any but will intentionally step on them). He is sound and will pass health exames, when we first got him he had his coggins test done because we were going to move from WA. He was neg. He had a health certificate at the vets then as well. He is current in shots and parisite control.Looking for a decent truck that can pull a 4 horse trailer and must be minimum of 1 ton or equivalant. Desiel is alright but prefer gas. Year doesnt matter as long as it is a good running vehicle and is in decent shape. (nothing wrecked or rusted) Nothing that is going to break down within a month after trading. I have a 1998 dodge 4x4 with a v-10 in it. Last fall I found out that it has water in the oil. I tried using a sealer, but as we all know, it was a pipe dream. I talked with the guys at mid-valley, and they feel that the head gasket is bad. they say the v-10s have very pourus heads, and they tend to leak. So this is what I have to propose, I also have a 1984 ford f-250 4x4 automatic turbo diesel pickup. It is an extended cab, red interior, and has a dented drivers side fornt fender. In the picture it has my dodges tires on it, it comes with the tires I got it with, which are a basic set of fronts and duals in the rear. The turbo kit is an ats, and it seems to work well. I have only really driven it from Naches to home way out in west vlley, pulling a trailer with a jeep on it. It runs very well, and shifts smooth. the 4x4 works fine. It does need two things though, brake lights and probably some glow plugs. I may get it some brake lights by the time the truck is fixed, we will see. What I would like to see happen is you pull my engine apart and we will see if the headgasket is bad. If it is, you buy the gaskets to put it all back together. Once its done, and running, with no new issues, the ford is yours. If it gets pulled apart and its not the head gasket, like maybe the head is cracked, we will have to cross that bridge. either I will buy a new head, you buy the gaskets and put it all back together as said above, and the ford is yours. If i do not get the head, I can pay your for your time, a reasonable amount, or we can work something out I am sure. The truck is in my shop, and I would imagine i have all the tools you would need to get it apart and back together, so you can do the work here.Let me know if you are interested.
