There are two small cracks in the aluminum. I sealed them with a silicone based sealant (which works fine for now). The sealant should be scraped off and epoxy or a weld should be used for a more long term fix.The motor. The motor is actually in great condition and runs really well, but there are two minor issues: 1. The cog for the pull start was broken when I bought the boat, so either you can find and replace the part (for relatively cheap) or you can do as I have done and just wrap a rope around the top of the motor and pull start it that way. 2. The engine has been sitting for just over a year and is having trouble starting. I think it is just the fuel lines or the carb that needs to be cleaned out. I let a friend borrow the boat and I do not think he let the lines run clean of fuel. The engine runs great if you just spray starter fluid into the carb... which is why I think it is just the fuel lines being clogged.The gas tank is only two years old. When I was trying to start it the other day the primer bulb sprang a leak. I bought a new one but havent checked to see if it fits. I will include this in the price of the sale. This is my dads raft, we used to live in alaska where it was used for flying out and floating remote rivers. I have a 1964 Starcraft 19ft with a Mercury 115 outboard 2 cycle motor. The motor seems to not crank over. The starter works but it doesnt turn the motor over fast enough to start. Although, it could be the starter. The previous owner told me it ran, but I do not know for sure because I havent had time to take the motor apart. Another parts motor comes with it. I put a new hand winch on it and new fuel lines. The trailer has rust on it but the steel is fine. I have the title. Call 208-669-1035 for more details. 1998 Eagle/Outlaw 21ft Tapperd tunnel race/pleasure boat. seats 5. Bought finished hull in march of 2008 and had all finishing work done by RLS marine in clarkston, Wa. OK the goods.... ford 472 big block motor, dont know too much about it. only that it was built by Hank Gosnell in lewiston, Id a few years back. its rated around 450hp, SVO ford racing roller rockers, RV cam, and other goodies. like i said \"dont know too much about it\" The motor itself has around 75 total hrs. boat has bassett thru transom headders (water injected) Oil cooler, holly carb. Boat interior is in great shape. no rips, tears, holes or fades. foot throttle, has custom counter sunk intake in bow(forces air to motor compartment) nice custom paint, pearl with maroon. Boat has never been raced!!! previous owner had a twin turbo big block chevy that pushed the boat to 115mph. motor was taken out and put in Duane Longfellows Salmon river race boat. From what i was told it has a custom berkley intake, with blow off valve. one of a kind, hand done. berkley bowl was flowed and machined down at American Turbine in Asotin, WA. also bought 6 inch american turbine extenstion and Hydraulic jetavator, all new. also A cut stainless steel Impeller. boat has motor cover that can be ran with or without if wanted. boat has cockpit cover that has allways been on when boat was not in use. ive only had the boat in then water 3 times. they were al test runs.
