It has a CD changer and only 126K miles on it. The work that has been done on it is extensive (and expensive). New transmission, new intake manifold gaskets, new axle on the left front, new O2 sensor, new TPS, the list goes on and on. This 1979 Olds Cutlass Supreme has been well taken care of and is a lot of fun to drive. 350, automatic, power windows...all the usual stuff youd expect. The BRAND NEW paint is so shiny that the pictures look funny, but I did the best I could. The front bumper is rusty on the top and it still hasnt been cleaned. If I sell it, so be it. If not, it will sure be a pretty little car to drive around in this Summer. Wow...1979 and its a classic already. Damn, Im getting old. It was great for trips with the kids. It has a VCR and TV in it and \"the little darlings\" were just as quiet as could be back there. It still runs good and goes forward just fine, but reverse seems to want to give you some trouble from time to time. Long story short, it needs a transmission (or a real rebuild). I paid a guy to do it, but it didnt last long. if you have one with a good tranny or want to fix this one, its sure nice to have. $350 is pretty inexpensive for what it is, but it needs work, so who cares. This 1979 Olds Cutlass Supreme has been well taken care of and is a lot of fun to drive. 350, automatic, power windows...all the usual stuff youd expect. The BRAND NEW paint is so shiny that the pictures look funny, but I did the best I could. The front bumper is rusty on the top and it still hasnt been cleaned. If I sell it, so be it. If not, it will sure be a pretty little car to drive around in this Summer. Wow...1979 and its a classic already. Damn, Im getting old. Anyway, you really have to see it and drive it to appreciate it. If you are of my vintage, youll love remembering the feel of the bigger smooth ride with that power. And if youre just a kid, come see what real American craftsmanship was like. This thing is no rice rocket and it sure doesnt sound like an angry bumblebee when you get onto it a little. I bought this truck to fix it and keep it for myself. If it doesnt sell for pretty darn near what I am asking for it, that plan wont change. Its a really nice clean little 4WD extended cab with a 318 V-8 and an automatic transmission. It has a CD changer and only 126K miles on it. Thats all the good. Heres the bad. It runs really rough. I took it to a shop and got it diagnosed. It turns out the intake manifold gasket is leaking real bad so it is losing vaccuum. I have already tentatively made a deal with someone to fix it in exchange for a trailer that I have for sale and if that happens, then so much the better. Please understand that I really like this truck and dont mind waiting and putting some money into it. This was set up as a work van for a guy who did HVAC, but it would work for just about any kind of contracting/handyman sort of stuff. Check out those racks on the sides. Ladders, pipes, whatever you need to carry. Just load it up and go. The inside has lots of shelving and bins and still plenty of room to work in there. This guy even thought to cut a hole to run a 20 length of pipe through if necessary so that he could work inside out of the rain. It would work well for flea markets too if you wanted to set it up that way. Actually, just come and buy it, then you can figure out what its good for.
