I just love the barter system and it seems to work well for everyone. It doesnt really matter what something is worth as long as everyone gets what they want. So, who wants this car? It needs a flywheel (center broke out) and probably a steering column. Otherwise, its a pretty clean and straight little car. Im open to just about anything, so try me. Big screen TV? Firewood? Lots and lots of chickens? Just kidding about the chickens. Hey, how about a swap for some labor. I can usually find something around here that needs to be fixed. You could ride around the golf course (or wherever you choose I suppose) in your very own three wheel Classic Cushman. I have the original top for it and it was perfect, but now has one little tear in it (fixable, but it still ticked me off when it happened). One or some of the batteries are bad, but they can all be replaced at Beacon Battery and Tire for somewhere around $20 to $30 each (I already checked). Chances are pretty good that some of them are good, but in the absolute worse case scenario, you have to spend no more than $150 or so to completely replace them all. When you hook up the charger, it tries to move, so the problem is definitely the batteries (well, at least one). I need lots of things done around here. Just a few of those things include small engine repair, tree trimming, plumbing, electrical, fence repair, mechanical, sheetrock taping...you name it. Maybe you have some skills that I need. Hey, I could sure use some firewood also. I need my septic tank pumped. I guess I could go on and on. Dental work? Maybe you could stop by and milk the rabbit a couple times a day? I love the barter system and I often dont know what I want until someone points it out to me. The box is off an older Toyota truck and is in pretty nice shape (just in case that has some significant value to you). The measurements are 56\" by 70\" inside, the wheels are 14\" and five lug (probably Toyota). It has a rearend under it as well which I imagine is from the original truck. Most of the other stuff you see in the background is also for sale (or trade), so let me know if you see anything else you like. I need some work done around here of all sorts. Can you do small engine repair, plumbing, electrical, other mechanical, sheetrock taping...???. Maybe you have some skills that I need. Lets make some sort of a deal, shall we? Trade.... what you got??? Ive been thinking of selling my other car, since I dont drive it much anymore. Figured I would see what people have to trade first. Could use a boat, dual sport, dirtbike, truck, etc.... 89 Buick Riviera , 159,xxx miles, as you can see its been driven about 8k a year. Runs good, needs a new battery. Could also use 4 new tires as they are old and may or may not have flat spots. Ive had the car since 99. Im the 2nd owner. Car is in good condition. Its been sitting, but I still wash it every few months and use jumper cables to start every so often. $2400 in excellent condition, this one is in good condition. I would like to trade my veggie oil blend that can be added up to 50% in any indirect diesel engine (i.e. non turbo, older) for a equal volume of farm fresh, organic milk for my family. Also interested in other dairy products.My veggie oil is top quality and will not cause you any problems and does not need any engine modifications at under 50% mixed with diesel. Pour it straight in and drive (in winter you would want to run a lower percentage of oil).It does not make rubber based fuel lines and gaskets brittle like biodiesel does. This is unprocessed, pure vegetable oil premixed with a little diesel. Biodiesel has methanol and lye added that can cause problems. Not my veggie oil.I filter the oil through 3 filters to ~5 microns. I then add a small amount of diesel and heat/cool it to dewater it (the diesel and heat make the oil thinner) and drop out anything that could possibly separate in your tank. These 2 processes also make sure that any higher melting point fats (i.e. hydrogenated and animal) are removed. I also test my oil by cooling to 5 C to make sure the oil blend stays liquid. Hello, During the last month or two, everything I have worked for has blown up in my face. My job, my relationships, my living arangments. I know everyone has a sob story, so I will not bore you with mine. I need to be out of my rental by Tuesday, and am asking if anyone has a 2nd or 3rd *running vehicle that they could part with on payments or a recently laid off persons income. This 1978 van is in really good condition, 350 V-8, turbo 400 transmission (transmission was rebuilt around 30,000 miles ago (shifts great) motor was rebuilt around 40,000 miles ago, odometer reads 135,000. the van starts well and has no abnormal engine noise, carb was rebuilt last year (4 barrel) There are no rear seats in this van (but they can be found) there is a tow hitch on the van. This is a nice van for a 1978, one of the nicer ones, interior and exterior are in good condition and the paint is good (two tone green.)I will entertain trades for sports cars (miata, mg, celica etc.) I am also open to other trades (cars, trucks newer vans) Call any time @360-220-8873 van can be viewed in bellingham. Im a 23 year old single mom with two kids living on disability and I really need some dental work (an extraction and a couple white fillings). I have dshs dental, but they will only pull my teeth (even for cavities) and I would really like to keep as many teeth as I can. I have a sever fear of dentists, so will need to be sedated. And Im broke. Ive tried interfaith and seamar, but when I can make it I dont get seen. I dont have much to barter for except my services. I can Cook, Bake, Clean, do moderate home repairs, I will wash your car, or your dog, paint (cant do small trim work), clean your fish tank, or carpets, dust, watch your kids, care for pets while on vacation, I will mow your lawn weed and plant your flower beds and or garden, just about anything that I can physically do that I wont wind up in jail for ( i have no criminal background and id like to keep it that way). The only cash I can part with is about $75 a month and some months thats pretty iffy but I will pay what I can. Even if a dentist would be willing to give me a line of credit (I have bad credit I will be honest) but Id be willing to put up the signed tital to my suv (the only thing I have worth anything). Id also be willing to show proof of my income. Got anything worth $350 (to me, not necessarily to you...thats the way this barter thing works). I am not going to get it fixed, so my loss could be your gain. And you never know unless you ask. So...ask me. Send me an email with whatever plan you have and lets go from there. I want things that I can use and that take up less space than this car (maybe...then again, I have five acres, so who knows). It doesnt run and the engine has been torn partially apart already because it dropped a valve. Not too tough to fix for someone that really knows their stuff. Or maybe just a great parts car...your choice. Once its out of my hair, I really dont care if you want to make a planter out of it. I just want to keep things moving. |

I have this thing sitting around and I am really getting sick of looking at it. What would I like to trade it for? Hell, I dont care. You must have something smaller and more mobile that you think is worth more than it really is, right? It has a 110 HP Mercruiser in it that did run and the outdrive goes up, but not down, I guess.
