White Rock Island is your exclusive 3 acre island for a week on a quiet 360 acre lake in Belgrade Lakes Region, ME. It’s easy to drive to; only 30 minutes from Augusta, 60 minutes from Freeport, 1.5 hrs from Portland, 3 hrs from Boston, 4Hrs from Providence.
It's a wonderful get away for privacy, relaxation, peace and quiet, fishing, exploring, boating, swimming, viewing wildlife and the spectacular views all around.
The cottage is at the center of the island. It has electricity, a full kitchen, bathroom with shower, satellite TV, screened porch, gas BBQ grill, etc.
The large 12’x18’ sundeck on the western shore of the island (see picture) overlooks one of two swimming areas, the 10x8 swim float, and smaller islands.
The rental includes use of the 14’ motorboat (6hp) and 2 canoes. The motorboat is easy to use. It’s <5 minutes from island to private shore dock/boathouse where you can park your car for free.
The lake is easy for fishing: Bass, Trout, Sunfish, etc.
You’ll hear the magestical call of the loons at night and sometimes in morning.
