Im selling my Berkeley wind Guitar and my Crate G120L XL amp.THe guitarhas a couple of single coil buckbuckers(as used for old les pauls to get the vintage sound) and my crate amp (500 watt input and it puts out 120 watts.) that can out 2 ohms for another cab of sorts. It gets LOUD, and you can easily pass up a drummer with this. The guitar is pretty nice, it has a little nick or two on the neck but nothing serious, and it has pearl inlays for the markers. This beauty is a 2007; mahogany body and set neck, maple top and Iced Tea sunburst finish. There is a cream binding on the body and neck. Everything cruddy about an Epiphone has been replaced. That means everything except the body and neck, which on this guitar are very nice; I played many before I selected this one. I took the liberty of removing the stock humbuckers and did some very light routing of the cavities to make room for two Reverend Guitars P-90s, which are tastefully trimmed with black pickguard material. The pots were upgraded to CTS, the switch and jack were upgraded to Switchcraft, the wiring is all vintage cloth with Orange Drop caps, the bridge and tailpiece are stock, but were upgraded to a Tone Pros style, locking them to the studs. Grover tuners are included, and the plastic nut was replaced with a bone nut. The pick-up covers are shielded and so is the back plate, all with copper tape, eliminating unwanted 60 cycle hum. Comes with amber speed knob volume/tone controls. All the magic was performed by Dan Worthington, owner and operator of Dans Guitar Repair. I hate Les Paul pickguards and 86d this one long ago, so NO PICKGUARD INCLUDED. This is a tone machine, Ive made sure. It sounds great live, it sounds great in the studio, and it sounds great just sitting on a guitar stand (it goes to 11). This would be a great guitar for that beginner/intermediate guitarist who is showing promise, the discerning hobbyist, as well as a working pro looking to pick something up that plays and sounds great with a workingmans price tag. Comes with a brown outer, pink interior hardshell case. No trades on this one. This guitar retails between $499 - $549 and all the extras Ive added are worth about $400, so youre getting a hell of a guitar and case at a hell of a price, which is firm. his is a well loved and awesome sounding guitar. The original pickups were replaced with three Rio Grande \"Crunchbox\" Humbuckers that sound amazing. The volume and tone knobs were also replaced with some push/pull style knobs to allow the more conrol of the pickups. You can turn individual ones on/off, control tone, volume, and convert each to either Humbucker or Single Coil with a push or a pull. This setup gives you almost any configuration and sound you could want. The guitar itself is in near mint condition and functions beautifully.
