Im a 23 yr old gay guy who is looking to move in with some cool roomates around my age or a little older, starting August 1st. I am moving out a house that my family had me watching for a few months and now they are moving back in August. I would like to start paying my roomies now in advance so I know I have a place for sure. I am looking for roommates that are around my age and very openminded and not with just me being gay, but with being out going and likes to be around people. I work 2 jobs downtown and I have been at one job for a 1year and 6 months and the other for 8 months. I like to go out on the weekends, go camping, go out of town, and be around fun chill people. I like to take care of myself hygiene wise and appearance wise and would like my roommates to be the same. I do know how to pick up after myself and keep my things tidy. Im not into pets, but if you can take care of them and pick up after them, then im fine. I prefer roommates with no kids, just a preference nothing against them. My ideal roommates would be chill people who are mature, like to hang out once in a while, outgoing and dont like drama(i know everyone says that, but some people live off drama, im NOT one of them and if you hang around it please dont respond), love to have bbqs, go boating and go shopping. So, were tired of trying to filter out all the spam ads, or ads with places that wont work for us. Heres the deal straight up-We are looking for some place clean, no smoking, no pets, and with a decent landlord. If thats not you, read no further.Non-Negotiables:NO PETS- as in there have not been pets in the unit for 5+ years and its been WELL cleaned. AT LEAST ONE FULL BATHROOM- THIS MEANS TUB AND SHOWER, SINK, TOILET. CLOSE PROXIMITY TO THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH( or to major freeways)**Un-psycho neighbors and landlord**What youll get in return:Tenants who care about the place they live in and will respect the lease terms. Well NEVER have a pet. Well NEVER smoke. We respect others and thats all we really want IN RETURN. We are a young student family just looking for a safe, quiet place to live while the husband finishes school. Hes starting a Masters degree this August, and wed prefer to be in ASAP. We can move whenever, and the rent is negotiable. Ideally wed like to not go over $850 a month- $900 for the *perfect* place. Some other things to consider when thinking about renting to us: youll be getting a family. Our children(3 and 1) are good kids who dont write on the walls or ruin the house. We like to enjoy the place we live in, and part of that is keeping it nice. We are able to barter property maintenance for a portion of the rent if needed. Youll be getting a nice stable income, as the husband works for the state, and his job is secure. We are planning to spend between 3 and 5 years, which means long term renters!!!! Husband is a Masters student- our family is responsible and quiet. Were looking for some place free of teenagers fresh out of high school. No noise after a reasonable hour, no crazy parties, no drugs, and preferably, no inebriated neighbors.Please do not respond if you are a landlord who does not run background checks.Please do not respond if you are not timely and reasonable in your repairs.Please do not respond if you are crazy.
