My husband and I are looking for a new housing opportunity. We are looking for a 2-3 bedroom place, preferably a single family home but will also consider apartments, with reduced rent in exchange for refurbishment services. My husband is an experienced and hardworking carpenter and we both enjoy fixing up the places we live. In exchange for reduced rent we will offer such minor labor services as painting, tiling, installing hardwood floors, etc. to larger projects like wall repair and construction, bathroom renovation, appliance installation and finishing unfinished rooms. Youd just have to cover the parts! We have excellent taste in decorating also. We have superb references from our previous landlord, who we did painting, tiling, floor installation, closet conversion, and interior decorating for. Our apartment was used as the Showroom apartment for the entire 240 unit complex.We have a very young daughter and a well behaved 4lb litter trained dog that would come with us. My wife and I bought all of the citydeals.com gift certificates available at the price of $15 for a $50 certificate to the Sugarhouse Homestead Studio Suites Hotel. As you can see from the link below, they no longer sell them for $15, but for $40! We bought more than we need not knowing how many nights wed be able to stay, so we have 2 to sell (2 at $15 each). We can use more than one per stay, my wife and I used three together to cover our two nights stay and didnt pay a cent. Im a 23 yr old gay guy who is looking to move in with some cool roomates around my age or a little older, starting August 1st. I work 2 jobs downtown and I have been at one job for a 1year and 6 months and the other for 8 months. I like to go out on the weekends, go camping, go out of town, and be around fun chill people. I like to take care of myself hygiene wise and appearance wise and would like my roommates to be the same. I do know how to pick up after myself and keep my things tidy. Im not into pets, but if you can take care of them and pick up after them, then im fine. I prefer roommates with no kids, just a preference nothing against them. My ideal roommates would be chill people who are mature, like to hang out once in a while, outgoing and dont like drama(i know everyone says that, but some people live off drama, im NOT one of them and if you hang around it please dont respond), love to have bbqs, go boating and go shopping. I dont care if i live with a bunch of straight guys or a bunch of girls, just as along as people respect each other and i will do the same. Hopefully i find some cool roommates. I am looking for someone to take over my lease, there are 11 months left on it. In case youre curious, my reason for leaving was a break in the relationship I had with the person I was living with; there were no problems with the apartment, I just cant pay the rent by myself. In fact, I loved this apartment so much that I paid my rent for the last month of my lease at my old apartment just so I could move into this apartment (it was totally worth it).The apartment is located directly across the street from the 7-11 located at the corner of 300 E and 100 S. Theres the Nostalgia Cafe and a number of bars within walking distance as well. The apartment itself has a huge bay window in addition to windows on two of the other three sides of the apartment which provide so much natural light you hardly ever have to turn on the light. The living room is very spacious and has a cute, fake fireplace for decoration. There is a dining room area with buiilt-in corner cabinet and a small kitchen with TONS of cabinet space. The bedroom is fairly large and has built-in dressers and drawers as well as two closets (a small one and a big one). The bathroom is tiled and has a built-in cabinet and drawers. I am very sorry to leave this apartment, it really felt like home for me and Im sure it will for you too.
