Im a 23 yr old gay guy who is looking to move in with some cool roomates around my age or a little older, starting August 1st. I like to take care of myself hygiene wise and appearance wise and would like my roommates to be the same. I do know how to pick up after myself and keep my things tidy. Im not into pets, but if you can take care of them and pick up after them, then im fine. I prefer roommates with no kids, just a preference nothing against them. My ideal roommates would be chill people who are mature, like to hang out once in a while, outgoing and dont like drama(i know everyone says that, but some people live off drama, im NOT one of them and if you hang around it please dont respond), love to have bbqs, go boating and go shopping. This apt is in a 4-plex, all side by side. It has its own laundry room so you wont have to share with other apts. It has lots of light, has been well-maintained and has two levels. Upstairs, there is the common area which is mostly furnished. I would be happy to re-arrange things if you have furniture you would like to bring with you. The front room has nice hardwood floors and there is tile in the kitchen. There is a full bath as well as one large bedroom. The bedroom has hardwood floors and is really nice looking. It has a big closet, not a walk in, but still a very decent size. Downstairs there are two bedrooms, (I occupy one of them) a 3/4 bath with large shower, and a laundry room. There is also extra storage space. The bedroom downstairs is the smallest, but still big enough to fit a double or queen bed, dresser, and other small bedroom furniture. It also has a nice sized closet. The only utility is electric which will be split 3 ways. There is one covered parking stall which will be available to use during the winter. I drive a little scooter and would ask to share the space, but it would mostly be available to you if you have a car. This is about 4 blocks away from Westminster and less than 10 minutes to the U, if traffic is bad. No smoking, or pets. I am looking for someone to take over my lease, there are 11 months left on it. In case youre curious, my reason for leaving was a break in the relationship I had with the person I was living with; there were no problems with the apartment, I just cant pay the rent by myself. In fact, I loved this apartment so much that I paid my rent for the last month of my lease at my old apartment just so I could move into this apartment (it was totally worth it).The apartment is located directly across the street from the 7-11 located at the corner of 300 E and 100 S. Theres the Nostalgia Cafe and a number of bars within walking distance as well. The apartment itself has a huge bay window in addition to windows on two of the other three sides of the apartment which provide so much natural light you hardly ever have to turn on the light. The living room is very spacious and has a cute, fake fireplace for decoration. There is a dining room area with buiilt-in corner cabinet and a small kitchen with TONS of cabinet space. The bedroom is fairly large and has built-in dressers and drawers as well as two closets (a small one and a big one). The bathroom is tiled and has a built-in cabinet and drawers. I am very sorry to leave this apartment, it really felt like home for me and Im sure it will for you too. These are great for food storage.The Mylar Bags are 11 x 16 inches and hold more than a gallon. The bags also have a gusset bottom (opens like a paper bag and stands on its own) and a zip-lock top (to reseal once opened).The Oxygen Absorbers are a whopping 1500cc (this is a huge absorber - most canneries sell you 200cc). He smokes outside and drinks responsibly.The other roommate is a straight female, 24, who can usually be found reading or playing computer games in her room. She does not smoke, but occasionally drinks. There is a snake that would be kept in its cage at all times (unless its time to clean the cage, which is only once a month or so) There is also one very shy female cat that resides there. Your pet may be negotiable, if you have one! Other things about the house: All utilities are rolled into the rent price. This also includes high speed internet. There is a washer & dyer in the basement for all tenants to use. Kitchen has been updated and includes dishwasher. So the kitchen/living room/bathroom would all be shared spaces. There is a detached garage currently used for storage, but you could park there if you really wanted to deal with unlocking and locking back up the gate. Great beer drinking porch! What we seek in YOU: We ask you to be friendly, laid-back, know how to clean up after yourself, and able to communicate in a rational fashion, with steady employment! We DONT want drama queens or crack heads! :P We do NOT care if you have an occasional overnight guest. Deposit of $500 required upfront plus first months rent.
