If you’re looking for Waikiki, this isn’t it. Our condo is located on the windward side of Oahu, in Punaluu, less than 5 minutes from Laie, the Polynesian Cultural Center, BYU Hawaii and the Hawaii Temple. Our unit is on the third floor of a secure building. About half the units in our building are occupied by local residents, so you’ll get an entirely different experience than staying in a hotel.This condo is not “walking distance” to the beach, it’s DIRECTLY ON a beautiful sandy beach. In fact, you can throw a stone from the lanai (patio) to the water. This beachfront location makes a huge difference when you’re carrying armfuls of towels, mats, snorkels and etc. In the morning, you can have breakfast on the lanai and watch the sun come up over the sea.The beach is never crowded like other spots on Oahu. Some days you’ll have the whole beach to yourself. There’s a reef about a half-mile out, where the waves break, so the water is calm and perfect for swimming or snorkeling. If you want waves, “Pounders Beach” is 2 minutes away, and world famous Sunset Beach or Waimea Bay are only 20 minutes away.The condo sleeps a maximum of 6, usually 2 adults and 4 kids. It’s a little crowded with 6 adults, although we’ve done it ourselves a few times. It has a full kitchen; washer/dryer, queen size bed, and 2 Futon couch sleepers. Also included are a phone, fax machine/printer two TVs and DVD players, all kitchen utensils, bath, and beach towels.Most beachfront rentals on Oahu are very expensive. We are charging only $125 per night plus tax and a $75 cleaning fee. Parking is free. We charge the same all year. Its not more in the Summer or around Holidays. There are “hotel room sized” units in the building that are about the same price. Ours is the true one bedroom at 726 square feet. We also have a 200 square foot lanai. (Only units on the 3rd floor have the large lanai). We lived in Hawaii for ten years, and think this is the best location on Oahu. Youre secluded out in the country just like old Hawaii, but if you want to visit the city, its only 45 minutes to Waikiki, Ala Moana, Pearl Harbor or the swap meet. This home is located in the bear hollow community. That is right by the Canyons ski resort and right under the Olympic ski jump. We are getting it professionally remodeled for this season so we only have pictures of the exterior and the club house. It is in a great location!!!. There is shopping, restaurants, movies all right across the highway from the home; it is located right near a bus stop. It is one minute from all three major ski resorts. It is right in Park City. This home is less than a year old and has all the upgrades, along with beautiful furnishings. The whole house is decorated with the Park City Moose theme. The sleeping arrangements are the following: The master suit has a king bed along with a private bathroom with shower and huge tub. There is also a big walk-in closet. The house is loaded with everything you will every need, including a brand new never been used private hot tub on the deck. All the linens are all included and ready to go. Our home also has a washer and dryer. It is a fully loaded all upgraded kitchen with all cooking supplies included.
