This is a Pantone swatch book by Vanson inks. Its about 6 or 7 years old, so I wouldnt recommend it for precise color-critical printing work, but it should be fantastic for a designer who cant afford a new set from Pantone. It includes both coated and uncoated values, as well as hexachrome and a few other specialty swatches. Has a 4-dot icon below every PMS value that can be accurately reproduced in 4-color printing. This is VERY helpful when designing, and not all official Pantone books even include that. First $30 cash takes it home. (Or to work. Take it wherever you want. I realize this itself is not a computer or software, but its used by graphic designers who use computers (Macs, for instance) and software (Adobe Illustrator & InDesign, for instance) to do their work, and its not particularly useful without that software, and designers are more likely to see it here than in the Arts & Crafts section. I dont know much about this router except that it isnt very powerful. My brother bought it in Japan and passed it on because he couldnt get it from everywhere in his house (here in America). If you have a small apartment this should be perfect as it would be very difficult for your neighbors to steal your internet with such low power output. I do know its an 802.11g, and that you administer it from 192.168.0.1 like most routers. First $20 cash takes it home. This has been a great computer. Ive used it for the last little while in the garage as a large, heavy iPod, as well as to view PDF parts diagrams and whatnot while working. Currently installed with Tiger. It was not connected to the internet, so it has not had any updates, but it also hasnt been used much at all. Currently has a few hundred songs in iTunes (an old version with the green icon), dozens of How-To PDFs, and a variety of TV shows that I downloaded with the help of tvrss.net and copied over with my jumpdrive. This is a GREAT educational computer. My daughter LOVES to play TuxPaint, which is installed. Ive been floored repeatedly by the things she figures out how to do. I paid $125 earlier this year at the U of U surplus, which is generally one of the cheapest places to get a computer. I then upgraded the optical drive and memory. Includes a Gateway usb keyboard with volume controls that work on the Mac. I have a Mighty Mouse available separately for $20. Otherwise no mouse is included in this sale. Max RAM is 1 gig, currently has one 512 MB module and one 128 MB module. Takes PC-133 SDRAM (full size). The combo drive is an upgrade as this model originally had a CD-ROM only. Has built-in 10/100 ethernet and 56k modem. Has a mini-VGA jack for video mirroring, but theres an app you can download (cant remember the name; check www.lowendmac.com for more information) that allows you to unlock it so you can have a second display with an extended desktop.
