This is an entry-level lab position, ideal for candidates looking to gain experience in a QC lab setting. This is a full time position paying anywhere from $16.00 to $17.00.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Chemist (Orem, UT) Orem, UT $17/hr 2009-05-26 1:44PM
Orem lab looking for research assistant to work on a grant project(duration 20-22 months)that studies the human bioavailability of garlic products. The job will mainly entail using a gas chromatograph (manual injections every 11 minutes), data storage, and calculations. It will also include food preparation and interacting with study participants. Position requires a BS in natural science field such as chemistry, microbiology, nutrition, food science, dietetics, physiology, biology, zoology, or exercise science. Some lab class experience and Excel experience is preferred. Must have effective communication skills and be able to follow procedures consistently. Hours may vary from week to week (32-36 hrs/wk) but primarily 4 days per week (probably Tues-Fri). Two of those days (Tues & Thurs) they will work 9-11 hours/day. The other two days (Wed & Fri) will be 7-8 hours/day. Location: Orem, UT Compensation: $17/hr This is a part-time job.Principals only.
