Wait lines at the lifts are non-existent. Powder Mountain has more skiable terrain than Vail. There is a nice lodge with indoor pool and large spa, Gameroom, exercise room, mini-market, ski-shop for rentals and discounted lift tickets, basketball court, pingpong table, video arcade w/ pool table, movie rentals and one of the friendliest staffed resorts you will ever visit. Skiing is Ski-In / Ski-out, average snowfall is over 5oo inches. The area is non-commercialized and is a skiers dream come true. I met some Vacationing Canadian Ski Patrol people on the lifts last season. They came to Powder Mountain to ski our Powder. That tells you how awesome the Skiing is at Powder Mountain. Lift tickets are affordable. The SnowCat will take you to Lightening Ridge for some backcountry skiing for only $10 per ride.Also heli-skiing into the back country is available. A local Grocery store is 15 minutes down the mountain and restaurants from 20 minutes to 45 minutes down the mountain. There is a cafe at the top of Powder mountain next to the highspeed quad which is open during the day in Ski Season and a restaurant at the ski school facility. The condos themselves are quite spacious with everything you will need for the week. All units have woodburning fireplaces. The views out of every unit are really quite spectacular.
