This is a beautifully carved wooden horse,one of a kind. It comes from a studio in Anaheim, California that produced carousel figures for Disneyland. They are no longer in existence. The horse is large enough that an adult can rock on it. It has been painted with five coats of paint and can stand with or without the rocker legs. It is beset with jewels and in excellent condition. This will make a great Christmas present, birthday or collectors item. Must be picked up at our residence. This is a truly unique steeple or cathedral clock that is in perfect working condition. It chimes at every hour on the hour and keeps very accurate time. It was recently (Mar. ’09) professionally serviced by an antique clock repairman. It is in excellent condition and features a reverse on glass painted beehive. I bought this clock in Maryland where I was an antiques dealer. I have bought and sold many clocks over the years. This is the ONLY ONE that I have seen with the beehive design on it. Truly appropriate for UTAH, the BEEHIVE STATE!!! I recently saw a Steeple clock similar but no where as nice priced at $1200 in an antiques store in Arkansas. The wood case is in excellent condition. I have had various experts estimate the age of the clock and most have said that it came from the 1800’s. The winding key comes with it. Attached are photographs of the item (unfortunately there is reflecting glass, so the room is reflecting over the photograph of Joseph Smith - there are no defects to the photo). The original frame does have some chips, but is in relatively good condition. Its gold and copper wash is still bright.The board backing of the frame appears to have been replaced, there is evidence that it used to be covered with protective kraft paper. It is my understanding that this is the only copy of this image. All reproduction rights go with the photograph. The image measures 14\" x 16\", the frame is 24.5\" x 27.5\".
