This is a Woodmaster 37" double drum sander. It has two rotating drums, one in front of the other. It can be loaded with 2 different grits of sandpaper. The usual configuratuon is coarser on the front and finer on the rear. The sanding motor is 7 1/2 hp. The feed motor that sends the stock through is 1/4 hp. The feed motor has a reversing switch in place but I have not hooked it up. The feed is infinitly variable, a highly desirable feature to handle any type of wood or condition. It will feed at speeds that are quite fast to barely moving. It will flatten glued up panels, flush up assembled doors, sand parts etc. It will handle a 3'0'' house door. It has a mobile base, and a few changes of paper. This machine is built like a tank with heavy steel framework. Separate motors for the feed and sanding insure that the power goes to the sanding drum. It is simple to adjust or true up if ever needed. It needs 220v service. If you are now sanding with a hand belt sander and a random orbit, this machine will open new worlds for you. Excellent service and parts (paper, velcro, advise etc) is just a phone call away. This is a great machine for the deticated amature shop or the professional shop on a budget
