For Sale: Vintage 1961 FAN Travel Trailer, a real gem that is in excellent working condition. The Fan Coach Company was founded in 1954 by Franklin A. Newcomer - hence the name FAN. The last year of production was 1980. FAN travel trailers were produced for only 26 years, which adds to their allure. The trailer is 12 feet long. Two separate beds can be pulled together to make a double. All three lighting fixtures are original - one is a propane light. The original wood interior is in excellent condition for the age of the trailer with no water spots. The white lineoleum floor with natural cork, which is warmer to the touch and beautiful to look at, not to mention very ‘green.’ Includes original table. All kitchenware and accessories are included and most are from the same period of the 1960s, including Melmac dishes, canisters, coffee and tea pots. The trailer has new electric and propane wires and a new propane tank. The trailer features a lovely, lightweight brown striped aluminum awning which not only enhances the charm but keeps you nice and cool in summer and dry in rain. Wheel bearings are packed and ready to go. Brown enamel ice box, sink, oven and stove. The oven and stove work perfectly and are very clean. There is no bathroom, but the trailer has a large closet that could be used as one, if desired. Otherwise, it is excellent for storage and features a market basket and vintage folding hangers.
