my roommate decided it's time for her to move out, so now I am looking for someone to rent her room(obviously, that's why I'm here). I have a really nice place in Brookside (meyer and oak are the cross streets) I wanted to live downtown and be near night life etc, but didn't feel safe in the middle of the city. This place is great, safe, no crime, and near everything. Brookside/Plaza/Westport Takes 5 minutes to get to UMKC. It's a divided two story house . The second floor is rented out to a nice older man who has lived there for 15 years (he has his own seperate entrance to the house and I never EVER see or hear him). I am renting the first floor. It is about 1300sq ft.(my floor alone) Full kitchen, bathroom, laundry, garage parking is available for you, big back yard and front yard, 2 bedroom. I am really relaxed, rarely home, if I'm not working, I'm playing basketball, working out, or going out with friends.
