I have two bedrooms available in a very wonderful house in the West Plaza. Would like to have both filled by August 1st. Rent is $350 per month, split utilities 4 ways equal out to about $100 a month per roommate - so total you pay about $450 each month. Very close to UMKC and KU Med, as well as within walking distance of the Plaza and Westport. Off-street driveway parking, washer/dryer in basement, a bit of a yard, two wonderful friendly cats to live with (sorry, can't have any other pets due to the lease), high-speed wireless internet with cable, storage available in basement AND a roommate who is going to massage therapy school - which means I need to practice and roommates make great people to practice on. I'm a gay male, my other roommate is straight - we are both gone a lot. I am very social and like to have friends over when I am home. We are very clean and responsible - please be willing to at least contain clutter/stuff to your room and help keep the house clean.
