Selling Cygnus, our 30 Morgan sailboat. Shes an oldie (1969) but goodie with low hours on a recently rebuilt fresh water cooled Atomic 4. Edson pedestal steering. The reason for the sale is that we are a two boat family, having recently purchased a Silverton sportfisherman (yes, I know, I am now a stinkpotter...) as the kids just were not into the slow, calming joys of sailing, and shes just a bit too big to singlehand, at least for my sailing skills.Mostly original, hank on jib, mast mounted winches. Mainsail, 120 and storm jib included, pretty good shape but the batten pockets could be resewed in the main. New interior upholstry 2 years ago. Restepped and rewired the mast last year. Rewired the shore power and installed a 12 volt refrigerator. VHF, LORAN, GPS, depth sounder. New, unused Portapotty to comply with DEM but a new holding tank is also installed. Shes a 40 year old gal, could stand finishing the interior 12 volt wiring, cleaning the original fuel tank, and the cabin sole is soft in places. No problems with soft deck or gelcoat bubbles, this hull was overbuilt when they used good resins.Sleeps 4 comfortably, two in the forward v-berth and two in the convertible galley.
