1984 Hunter 25.5 w9.9 hp Evenrude yachtwin. this quick little boat is ideal for series racing during the week or weekend cruising over the weekend. It has been said numerous times about this model that the interior rivals most 30 ft sailing vessels. The upgrades this year consist of but not limited to New halyards, new halyard jammer, deck organizer, new depth finder, installation of new CD deck and two speakers. (cd player has aux in for ipods phones ect.), Spreader lights and boots, The entire electrical system was replaced this year and yes it was a pain in the ass. New Porta potty, New 8 switch DC 12 volt breaker panel and wiring new Windex, sun shower the list goes on.... The condition of the deck is sound there are no soft spots on Acrewed Interest and she was fully buffed and waxed before entering the water this year. I can see myself in the hull of this boat and that is impressive for her age. Also before she was launched this year the keel was ground down to the steel and 5 coats of rust inhibitor epoxy was applied before she got her fresh coat of bottom paint. All the deck teak accents and companion way boards were oiled and treated. I think by now you get the idea that this old girl is in great shape. O yea the main is in good condition and the jib is on the list to be replaced but still works for cursing. If you were to race her she needs a jib or jenny. Reason for selling... It was properly winterized and i just fired it up with fresh gas this week. It uses a 50:1 oil ratio for increased reliability (VRO was removed). The boat looks a little rough and needs cosmetics (dull gelcoat and lots of scratches but hey its free and solid). the seats are in good shape but need to be anchored down properly. Q: Why are you selling it:A: I simply dont use it enough and have too many projects right now. Also the economy is killing me and i need the money. I will not go any lower than $2999, however as i paid 4k (have receipts) for the motor alone (without controls or prop) and $1500 for the boat (it had a bad floor so i had to redo it as well). I have 8 folding plastic boat seats all about three years old and in very good condition. I dont need them because they were replaced with teak benches. Simple, rugged and sturdy.
