Hello!My baby - 1992 celica gt liftback (teal) 5speed manual - recently suffered an unfortunate series of events.After babying her (2nd owner) for 80,000 miles and replacing nearly every part on the car... something decided to make a nest in the header area of the engine compartment. I started the car one morning to allow her to warm up, and went inside. When i came out the engine was smoking, and most of the electrical was fried.Otherwise the car is in GREAT condition for a 1992 with 238,000 miles. It has relatively new tires, new brakes, great clean interior and would make a superb parts car or project (there are a number of engine swaps you can do to give it big power -- 3sgte 225hp, 3sge 160-200hp). You could also probably go to a junk yard and nab all the wiring you need for $100-200, or a complete engine (5sfe) for $500.I wish i had the time/money/energy to revive this car, as it was my first... but i dont. My loss, your gain - come pick it up (bring AAA or something to tow it).This car has relatively new: alternator, radiator, clutch, brakes (calipers + pads), tires, rear struts and battery.
