My boyfriend and I have been living in this room for the last year, and were planning on living on the boat over the summer so we have to rent it out!The room is bright and located in the quietest part of the house. It will be rented out furnished, but some things can just be put in the basement if so desired. It will be offered with a bedframe, writing table, etc. The room is large enough that two have shared it comfortably, and were open to couples, but wed have to doulbe check with our landlord.The apartment is shared with two friendly, professional and funloving flat-mates and we also have a great relationship with our downstairs neighbors, a nice plus since we live in a free standing private house. Want to mention that I am the only girl here, and I am leaving. Ive had a good time here but I seem to get along better with guys than girls, so keep that in consideration. Very large backyard with bbq and space for hammock has come in handy and is easily enjoyed with our housemates. We have quite a bit of parking on our street, alhough it will get scarser as the summer comes on, everyone wants to come to Newport!The house is located very close to the bars and cafes on Broadway (Fastnet, Pour Judgement, Empire Cafe) and a short walk to Thames, Americas Cup BLVD and everything else that makes Newport such a great place to live in!Rent is $500, there are some utilities that will be split 4 or 5 ways, depending on your situation. We have very inexpensive Cable and wireless internet, washer-dryer in our apartment.Were looking for a rental starting around July 1st until about September, with a flexible ending date and are open to arrangements that might bring the rent down by about $50 a month.
