We have a room to rent in a great bungalo type house with a view of the providence river, a HUGE back yard, and only a few minutes to downtown providence- directly on the bike path. Private bathroom, shared kitchen, plenty of parking, some storage, washer/ dryer, cable tv and wireless internet... We are a hip, 30s couple with a 1 year old and another baby joining us in August. The ideal person would at least like young children and at most want to trade some rent for occasional babysitting. The house is an ideal spot for someone with a pet or pets or who wants to garden or make use of the outdoors and huge fenced in yard. This a 3 room suite with loft, private bath, and bedroom. Every room has a water view. The tile bath has a walk-in shower and a jacuzzi tub, with a radiant heated tile floor. The loft has three skylights and windows looking out on Narragansett bay, and also has a radiant heated floor. The third bedroom has a bay window, plenty of closets and built-in bookshelves, and would make a perfect study or dressing room.The house is located directly on the bay, with a mature garden sweeping down to the sand beach. There is a full deck, and a lower patio with an outdoor six-person jacuzzi. There is a custom kitchen, a dining room, and a large living room with all the latest electronics.Included is laundry in the basement, all utilities, basic cable, high-speed internet, shared use of the house, and complete privacy in your own suite. I am a five minute walk to the bus stop and the East Bay Bike Path, a ten minute drive from providence. Im a gay, single middle aged man, I dont drink or do drugs. I love movies, keeping up my house, and gardening. If this sounds to you like an ad that should be listed in the personals, you got that right. Theres nothing more personal than waking up and sharing a kitchen with someone. Im looking for someone like me: respectful of other peoples space and enjoying peace and quiet. I currently have one other roommate, a Brown Graduate student. I am an outdoor-only smoker who is looking forward to quiting very soon. I have a cat (no kitty-litter smells, I promise) and a very gentle, old Sheltie. Any pets to be considered would have to be screened by these guys.This really is a cool place to live.
