The axles are 5 bolt 4 1/2" spacing with 26 teeth per spline. They originally came out of a 8" Courgar rear end. I had them in my 34 Ford but I decided to narrow the axles to accomodate wider tires, thus forcing me to buy new axles. You can only cut the old housings and weld them back together, you cannot cut axles and make them narrower. That is why I have the two axles for sale. I took a close up picture of the teeth so you could see the good condition they are in. I just paid $300 for basically the same axles, only 6" narrower. Call 502-649-1099 or reply to e-mail address.
