I'm selling a 40' Semi Storage Trailer with Shelving. It is a 1979 Trailmobile. It had only one previous owner and I have the Original Title. It appears that it was Never used as an over the road trailer. It was only used as a piggy back trailer on railroad cars. It has an extra steel angle plate running down each side of the trailer that allowed them to pick the trailer up off the railroad car. It has "4" rear door closures, 2 on each door. Most over the road trailers only have 1 on each door. Each closure is Lockable. Unlike most over the road trailers, there is very little rust and the flooring is in very good condition because the trailer was never exposed to road salt. The tires are in good condition and should be able to go anywhere. I bought the trailer in 1992 and installed 384 sq. ft. of shelving. Everything is screwed together. There are NO nails. We actually loaded it in Albuquerque and had it moved to the Moriarty area and everything survived intact. I used paneling to screw to the front of the selves to keep everything on the shelves. The paneling goes with the trailer. I checked out other storage trailers for sale in Albuquerque, and this trailer, WITHOUT the shelving, would be equivalent to trailers selling for $4000 to $4500. The cheaper trailers were junk. Heavy rust. Rotted out floors. Terrible or No tires, etc. I am asking $3500. I also have a Kingpin lock available for sale with the trailer. More pictures available.
