This is the Chinon SS-1200 Stereo Super 8 Sound Movie Projector Once in a while you discover a movie projector that blows you away. This is one of them. I never knew this particular projector existed - until I ran across it. Some of the controls - like the speed compensation knob - you might find on something like a Goko telecine. There are so many controls and jacks on this thing, you really have to examine the pictures to get an idea of the complexity of the machine. This projector looks gorgeous. I projected sound film and both audio tracks register. I have not done any complicated recording or dubbing with this projector as I have no spare sound film to do it with. I have seen a couple of eBay auctions in England for this particular projector which went for a lot of money. Due to the age of the unit, there are no warranties or guaranties on this item; as-is, no refunds. I am asking $500 OBO for this item.
