I am selling a 1994 open bow Caravel 19 ft with V6 180hp Mercruiser IO. Only 230 hours. Used 90% of time in fresh water. Also includes a loadrite galvanized trailer. I have owned this boat since 1996 and have all service records. The boat and trailer are in extremely good shape. Hull is shiney and apolstery is excellent. It has been serviced by Belks Marine. Wheel berrings on trailer packed every other year and changed every other year. It runs great, always starts right up, never let me down and everything works. I am buying a bigger boat. 1990 CARVER 27 SANTEGO MODEL 2767 FLYBRIDGE GALLEY BATH Take a look at this beautiful fresh-water Carver 27 Santego – Model 2767. It’s in EXCELLENT condition! An extremely popular Carver model, the 27 Santego is a modern mid-cabin family cruiser with unusually spacious interior and a very pleasing profile. In order to gain interior volume, Carver engineers extended the Santego’s cabin sides to the hull’s full width. The result is a cavernous single-level cabin with an athwart ships wraparound dinette forward and hidden V-berth. With the dinette converted, there are berths for six - more sleeping room than any other boat in its class. The head compartment with shower and vanity; and the fully equipped galley with electric stove, dual voltage refrigerator - freezer, and built-in wet-bar add the amenities of home. The excellent 6 foot, 3 inch headroom is the result of her raised foredeck. There’s bench seating in the cockpit and lounge seating on the flybridge opposite the helm. Topside, the bridge comfortably seats five adults. Foredeck sun lounges, bow pulpit and built- in swim platform add to the standard. Twins and dockside air. Dual bimini tops with full enclosure canvas all in excellent condition (tops are in storage for season…so we don’t have any photos). It has just received a complete bottom hull strip / reapplication of anti-foul paint, replacement of both lower units with new units (from the upper seam downward) and all four hydraulic rams are new. The work has been performed by Winegar Works Marine Outfitters of Guttenberg, Iowa; they the local MerCruiser dealer. They said the work was necessary because the cathode-anodes replacement had been neglected...allowing significant corrosion to occur. This outboard is as close to a new outboard as you could get without the new outboard price! This short shaft (15 inch transom) outboard has just been completely refurbished top to bottom (completed in May). The unit was completely disassembled, all metal components media blasted to bare metal, primed and repainted. Cowling has been stripped, sanded smooth and painted with Emron white then clear coated. New modern decals applied. A new base gasket is installed. This fresh water only motor is from 1971 and has been totally torn down, media blasted, cleaned, inspected, and reassembled. Cylinders were honed at approximately 50 degrees and new pistons and rings installed. All seals and gaskets have been replaced with new, from foot to fly wheel. All critical ignition components have all been replaced to include new spark plug leads. Carburetor has been cleaned, inspected, and rebuilt. A ten hour engine break-in run has just been completed at a local lake running a 32:1 mixture ratio (normal operating mixture is 50:1). Gear case was cleaned, inspected, and repacked. Gear selection is positive and smooth with no slipping. Propeller is new and has a 9 inch pitch.Other new items include; Impeller, Fuel Pump, Face Plate, Propeller, Prop Cap and Pin. As this unit is rounding 40 years old, no guarantee will be offered. I travel daily to the Willow Grove area and could arrange for transfer in that region as well as the Allentown area. HelloMy inexperience led me to believe I could fix this but it turns out this is beyond my scope. Now Im trying to pass it to someone with a greater knowledge. Information:Rowing shells are sized for different weights of rowers. The boat in question is of an unknown weight range, but it looks like a lightweight mens, or even a lightweight woman boat. This would mean that it will probably only work for a rower of under 150 lbs. or perhaps under 130 lbs.The riggers with the boat (the metal things which hold the oarlocks to the boat) were not original to this boat. They are fine for display use, but their geometry is not right for rowing with this boat. I have no idea how far off they are, and they MAY be shimmed to work.The hull and internal structure is basically sound, and the seat deck (under the seat area), and the wood decks between cockpit seat and fabric decks are of marine materials, but , as the boat was intended only for display, there is no waterproof finish on their undersides. Any water which gets inside the hull will cause rot. Additionally, any replaced structure below decks was not waterproofed. Also, the exterior of the hull was finished with interior grade varnish, which may not hold up at all well if periodically put in the water.Metal fasteners used in rebuild are cadmium plated steel, and quite fine for display, but they will rust if left outdoors or put in the water. They would need replacement if you intend to actually use the boat. *************This is what I was told, I have no way of verifying what is said because I am not an expert****Also yes its in Los Angeles. 16 foot v-hull aluminum boat with side console steering and motor cables, although I was going to use it as a tiller boat. Model is a Vio Hull. Is a vintage vessel. I have current titles for both boat and trailer. Brand new stainless steering wheel and brand new boat cover - just bought both at xmas.Boat is in extremely nice condition. Boat is huge inside - thats why I liked it. Plenty of room for several people and water activities Has rod holder beside steering wheel which I placed a beach umbrellla in for shade. Also has two plastic seats which attach to alum bench seats and slide side to side. Has a wooden floor in rear which lifts in and out (easier on the feet when hot).Very nice trailer, actually is a larger trailer which was used for a larger boat - I believe 17 or 18 foot. Have two gas motors, one is a Mercury 3.5 hp with gas tank in unit and the other I think is a 5 hp also with the gas tank in unit. The mercury has just had new gas lines installed. I have not tried to start either. Both have compression. Also comes with an electric trolling motor and two paddles. Previous owner had a 35 hp on it and said it sailed, but motor was short lived, no longer with boat.
