This is an original, working 3 weight Vienna Regulator Wall clock with beautiful strikes at quarter, half, three quarter and full hour. This clock was handmade sometime around the mid 1800s by a clockmaker in Vienna. Wein (Vienna) is inlayed on the dial. The handcarved wood case is museum quality and is all original, including the glass. The porcelein dial is almost perfect. The clockmakers name is inlayed on the dial also, Silberbauer. This is a true collectors piece. The clock is in excellent working and striking condition. The clock strikes on the quarter hour with the first strike representing the quarter of the hour(1 for 15 minutes, 2 for 30 minutes, 3 for 45 minutes, 4 for the top of the hour and then it will strike the actual hour).I have 3 other museum quality clocks that also will be for sale. Antique cookie molds:These molds were used for baking a number of goodies such as Tea Cakes, Muffins, and Cookies, and in some cases for forming and baking a pastry shell that when completed would hold yum, yums such as custards, whipped cream treats, and all kinds of good stuff. They have been in the family for at least 85 years and were used by my mother who cooked for the eight of us..There are 6 molds square in appearance with ripple sides that are approximately 7/8 of an inch in height by 2 and 7/8 wide between all sides. This group is priced at $2.00 which is about 33 cents a piece. There are 11 molds circulalr in design that measure 1 and 3/8 in height and just under 3 inches in width. This group is priced at $3.50 which is about 31 cents each. Then there are two star shaped molds that measure 1 and ¼ inches in height by 3 and 3/8 inches at the wide points of the star points. This brass topped tin container and it’s contents has been in my possession since before WWII. There are 18 of the old style clamp type paper holders still surviving the years. Also included are 13 old style thumb tacks in the container identified as a Mirabil tacks that were made in Germany. The container it’s self is 1” in height and 1 and ½ inches in diameter. The brass top is adorned with much information regarding the contents of the container and the manufacturer, Washburne’s Patent under the name of OK Paper Fasteners. All of the embossed information is in excellent condition hence easy and interesting to read. Washburne held many patents of numerous types during his time. This group of Canadian silver dimes consists of four coins featuring George VI on the obverse side, and four featuring Elizabeth II. The reverse sides are all the same except for the dates. The mint dates on the coins forming the top row are from left to right, a 1951, a 1949, a 1952, and a 1960. The bottom row consists of a 1940, a 1943, a 1956, and a 1960. The 1940 coin, at the far left of the bottom row is the premium coin of the lot and of the most individual value. All of the dates and other printed features on these coins are plainly visible. There is no excess wear on any of the coins. The pictures provided are not of good quality, especially those that display the reverse sides. I’m not 100% positive, but I believe this key made by Sargent is a telephone lock box key. Such boxes were common years ago but began to disappear from cities not long after WWII. This particular type of lock must be scarce as it has not been possible to locate anything like it while searching for a match in the usual places. The key is 3 ½ inches in length, and is about 1½ inches across the head of the key. There are numbers on the head of the key, (see photo below) one of which is H1820 which is the model number. The purpose of the large number 13063 embossed above the first number is probably an identification group. The key appears to be made of steel, but may be an alloy.
