This Gibson Mandolin belonged to my mother - has not been used since the 50s. I had a verbal appraisal 7/2008 from Pioneer Music Co. and was advised it is in very good condition and needs about $75 with of work- strings, etc. The individual I talked to advised me to wait and let my buyer have the work done to his/her specifications. Im selling my Orange Tiny Terror 1-12\" combo amp. The amp is tube driven, powered by two EL-84 tubes in the power section. Its a phenomenal amp, that I sadly just dont need. I have no band, no real interest in playing in one, and am beyond busy with school and work. The combo must be heard to be believed. Switchable from 15-7 watts, it is a recording dream come true. It features a Celestion G12H-30 speaker, and can be attached to a cab for more sonic possibilities. It has just 3 control knobs (volume, tone, gain) but it can give you many varied sounds, including some surprisingly heavy distortion. Since its an Orange, it holds its value well, is built like a tank and has that special charm that only Orange amps have! It was purchased in February, brand new, for $819. It was made back in 1999 (if Im reading the serial number correctly...) and weighs approximately 1930 grams. Ive owned it for, oh, maybe a year or so and its served me well. I am, however, very curious about the 2002 line, so Im looking into a 20\" 2002 Paperthin crash, and I have to sell one to get one...so off this goes.This ride is in fairly good condition with no cracks or any signs of keyholing. The one exception is that there are a few areas around the edge where one can detect subtle dents/waves, as if some heavy-handed player had not realized how soft the Signature Bronze is in comparison to other metals. I bought this cab thinking I was going to buy a 5150 and have a half stack. I just dont have the money for that. It has no speakers in it but is fully wired. I have seen celestions going on here for $50. Closed back, on casters, and covered in diamond plating. The diamond plating job was done really well by a professional metal worker, and I dont see any rattling ever happening. The board under the grill have been painted red.
