1992 Honda Nighthawk, 10,637 miles, new battery, new rear tire. The tire was installed and balanced by St Johns Honda and they put on the same model number of tire that the bike came with. The tire still has those little rubber stickout things and has less than 500 miles on it. This has never been down or dumped and has always been adult owned and garaged. I bought a bigger and newer bike in 2006 and have barely ridden this since. When this starts, it just purrs and sounds fantastic. You wont find a flaw with this bike. This bike is still a sweet and great runner. I have the Clymer repair manual too. Im not very good with a camera, but I took these. That is water beneath the bike as I just washed it. 2003 Suzuki Bandit, will have about 18k miles (as well as a lot of dead bugs!) on it when I get back on Sunday. Nice California bike set up for commuting with Hot Grips, Givi Windscreen and Trunk. Also works great for touring and for two-up; the trunk keeps your passenger in place when you roll open up the throttle! The motor is a monster, all the torque you could ask for with a red-line of 11k. Shifting is purely optional but its Suzuki-slick so why not? You can really hot-rod this bike if thats your thing, these motors have been the standard at the drag strip for years. This one is stock. Its quiet, reliable, and still makes way more power than can be used in any legal fashion. The Bike is garaged, has good tires and chain, fresh oil change. Needs nothing. It has Daytona Twin Tech solid state ignition that will function in either dual-fire or single fire modes and even multiple spark modes. It has a Mikuni HSR 42 carb and Andrews EV72 cam. John Reed designed the sculpted two piec rocker boxes. The engine is beautiful to see and hear. The bike is way smoother and much, much faster than the Evo(with Andrews EV27, K&N air and aftermarket pipes) was. This scooter is FAST. It has never seemed hot even in really slow traffic. The pictures show more than I know about its history. There is no title for it, I dont know if it runs. A lot of work has been put into this bike with so far. The engine is a 350-4 cylinder with custom exhaust, the rear wheel is an older 16 inch, there are custom handle bars and throttle set up. The frame is an older Harley hard tail, the front forks are extended it looks like electrical has been run. What a great start for a summer project. Give me a call 503-780-2155. Here’s the run down: original owner, 67K on the od, ABS, new tires (conti trail attack), jesse luggage, corbin seat, heated hand grips, works performance shocks, S.S. brake lines, Canadian exhaust (so no O2 sensor) with a potentiometer wired in to richen the fuel mix. It runs strong and smooth. Minor damage to front from putting it into the sand back in ’95 and it has the original plastic tank with paint bubbles on the underside, top side paint looks fine. Comes with bike cover, travel cover, tank bag, tank panniers (rider warehouse), tank cover, head light guard, original stock seat and passenger seat, shop manual, rear brake pads, oil filter and basically anything associated with the bike.
