15-gallon, gray-plastic drums with screw-on cap/carrying-handles - $18 (close-in SE Portland)
close-in SE Portland
I have a quantity of 9 gray-plastic drums with a screw-on cover-lid.There is a pair of white-plastic carrying-handles, which are situated near the top of each side of the drum. The carrying-handles can swivel upon theirsturdy hinges.I am seeking $18 apiece.Dimensions: 21\" tall x 15\" external diameter.9\"-diameter opening beneath the screw-on cover-lid.These little barrels could conveniently store used restaurant oil -- for subsequent processing into biodiesel fuel. (Just allow the fryer-oil to cool-down, though, before pouring it into this wide-mouth barrel!)*** For the first person who buys a quantity of 5 or more, I will include 4 gallons of unused canola oil!!!The screw-on lid and wide-mouth opening make it easier to deal with the waste veggie-oil than using a funnel to pour the oil through a narrow hole. The manufacturers photo below depicts similar drums of blue-plastic.The ones Im offering are gray-plastic.When Ive offered these previously on craiglist (approx. 5-months-ago), theysold-out quickly -- for the following usages, besides biodiesel:* to contain supplies for white-river rafting -- with the dual handles of the drums lashed-together for stability within the raft.* to hold camping-trip supplies and hunting paraphenalia.* to hold bulk chicken-feed within a internal plastic sack.* to contain wood pellets for pellet stoves.Im storing these little barrels in the vicinity of SE 17th Ave. and Holgate.Im available (by appointment) during weekdays, early evenings, and weekends.
Near 50th & SE Powell. Two drawer metal file cabinet. No key and lock is broke. Appearance fair. Bottom drawer has small dent at top right(not too bad). Drawers slide in/out well. Measures approx. 29-1/2 T x 15W x 30” D. Cash and pick up only. Please call 503-775-9653 or 503-317-0284. Thanks. Jim
Extra-thick-walled, 55 gallon, plastic barrels with bung-hole caps - $35 (close-in SE Portland)
close-in SE Portland
Extra-thick-walled, 55 gallon, plastic barrels with bung-hole capsIm offering a quantity of four 55-gallon, white-plastic barrels which have extra-thick walls and bottoms. The prior contents were either canola-oil or soybean-oil. Ive thorougly rinsed-out the barrels with hot water. All of these drums have tight, sealed (un-removable) tops -- with 2 bung-hole caps in the top.Im seeking $35 apiece for this pair of extra sturdy drums. When these have arisen as rarities during the past two years, theyve had special appeal for craigslist-folks doing biodiesel processing. The difference in drum-quality is this: If a truck rammed into the extra-thick barrel, it would bounce down the street and be unhurt. However, if a standard-thickness barrel suffered the same fate, it would be bashed-in (aside from bouncing). However, I do have many 55-gallon, white-plastic barrels of standard-thickness. These are just $25 apiece, and the prior contents were pure olive oil or vinegar. I have thoroughly rinsed-out each of these. And I have many standard-thickness, blue-plastic barrels at $25 apiece.Prior contents: either food-additives or household bleach (which I have thoroughly washed-out).I also have 4 clean, 30-gallon, white-plastic drums for $25. Some biodiesel folks have preferred these smaller drums for the convenience of handling lesser weight.I am storing these plastic barrels in the vicinity of SE 17th Ave. and Holgate.I am available (by appointment) during weekdays, early evenings, and weekends.
Steel barrels (55-gallon size, unrusted) with gasketed cover-lids - $35 (close-in SE Portland)
close-in SE Portland
Im offering a renewed quantity of 16 steel, open-top drums -- with detached cover-lids and bolt-on retaining-rings (to tightly secure the lid to the body of the drum). There is also a rubber gasket underneath the cover-lid.$35 apiece. These barrels are unrusted. These are painted black on the outside. The inside is polymer-coated, to prevent rust-formation (by moisture condensation in contact with bare metal). The spray-on polymer-coating is maroon/burgundy colored. The underside of the cover-lid and the undersides of the two, screw-in, \"bung-hole\" caps are alsopolymer-coated.I am storing these drums in the vicinity of SE 17th Ave. and Holgate.I am available (by appointment) during weekdays, early evenings, and weekends.
