This bass is black w/ an aged white pickguard. It has two single coil lipstick pickups. A 3-way pickup selector switch, a volume and tone knob, and an aluminum nut (which to my ears creates a great, clear ringing sustain). When playing w/ both pickups on the bass is loud, deep, and punchy. In a side-by-side comparison I did with a Kramer Aluminum neck bass (w/ humbuckers) and a Squier Jazz bass, the Danos tone had a ton more life, presence, and balls. The neck pickup has a deep bass tone. The bridge pickup soloed has a vintage 60s sound, like the bass one might hear on a Beach Boys album. Im will include a HSC w/ this bass for an extra $25.. These basses are no longer in production, so they will soon become difficult to find. I bought this cab thinking I was going to buy a 5150 and have a half stack. I just dont have the money for that. It has no speakers in it but is fully wired. I have seen celestions going on here for $50. Closed back, on casters, and covered in diamond plating. The diamond plating job was done really well by a professional metal worker, and I dont see any rattling ever happening. The board under the grill have been painted red. Fender Showmaster Super Strat:The Fender Showmaster guitar features Solid Mahogony body with a beautiful Flamed top and matching painted headstock. The C-shaped maple set neck has a 15.75”-radius rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and abalone dot inlays. The show master plus is unique for a fender because it has set thru body neck, and 24 frets, unlike most strats that are 21 frets. The Fender showmaster elite is loaded with two Seymour Duncan’s JB’s which are wired for split coil, so it has a five way selector switch. I absoubltly love this feature because you can really get a classic single coil chime while playing rhythm, then I can just push the selector up to humbucker and get a super thick fat lead tone. Also this guitar is has with jumbo frets, and a thin wide neck that reminds of a Rusty Cooley signature ESP model. The vibe I get from jamming with this guitar is that classic Charvel feel and sound, combined with a strat plus tone; meaning it doesn’t have as much quack as a classics strat. I love the super sleek neck with 24 frets; it allows you to try to do you best impressions of Paul Gilbert and Warren Demartini. The neck feels like classic strat neck meets an Ibanez wizard neck. Also I really like the SH-4 and Jazz JB’s loaded in the guitar. I’m usually not a huge fan of Seymour Duncan pickups, even trough he is one of the nicest and humblest people I have met in the industry. But what I’m finding is that the pickups he made in mid 90’s and early 80’s sound completely different then the ones you get today. I made this discovery because I used to have two Jackson Randy Rhoads RR5’s but one from 1996 and the other was from 2007 and the 1996 one sound like a completely different guitar then the 2007 one. This Memphis brand electric is clean and in very good condition cosmetically, but the neck pickup cuts out intermittently - probably the 3 way switch. Volume and tone controls work fine, and the wiring appears to be fine. Heres a great project for the you aspiring guitar techs out there. Im selling my Neumann M147 studio tube condenser microphone. Included is a Neumann tube microphone cable, Neumann N149A power supply, and a nice storage case. Im also including the genuine Neumann EA 1 shock mount that retails for $300 alone. The M147 retails at $2,679, with the shock mount included you can save half on this microphone. The M147 is a top of the line professional stuido mic, if you like warm tube vibes this mic has all the bases covered! This Neumann absolutely dominates mic selection for male vocals with its rich mid lower end. It is excellent for stringed instruments and excels on guitar cabs and as a room mic. This is the mic to beef up thin sounding vocals, and the more gain you apply the more fuzzy tubey saturation youll hear. The M147 has a fixed-cardioid pattern and uses the M7 - the same large dual-diaphragm capsule as found in the vintage U47 and M49 microphones, you really cant go wrong with this mic. For Sale: Sonor mini drum set. This is a 3 piece drum set that includes a r-tom (10”) fl-tom (13”) and a bass drum (16”). This is a beautiful red satin finished maple and birch shell kit. It produces amazing tone and, if you want, volume for its size. It works especially well in tight spaces and quiet gigs. I’ve used it quite a bit for jazz, funk/R&B and blues. I always get compliments with it. It is one of the last of this particular series to have been made in Germany. $975 obo. Vintage 1981 Guild S-300 ADVery cool and rare Guild solid body. USA made, 100% original including the OHSC. Below is some more info. on specs, etc. (if you are looking at this, you likely already know how awesome these old guild solid bodies are, so I will spare you the time!). Note that this is the more rare AD edition, with the Dimarzios. Guitar is in great condition, with a fair amount of clear coat checking (wont show up in the pics) which is normal for these old solid bodied Guilds and adds a very cool vintage feel. The price is somewhat negotiable, but I have no problems holding onto and enjoying it for another 20 years...just trying to thin the collection herd a little to make room for a move. The S-300 was launched in 1977. Guild had not tried any particularly original solid body designs for several years, so the S-300, (along with its companion S-60 and S-70 guitars, and B-301 and B-302 basses) was a welcome change for the guitar buying public. The 1978 Guild guitar catalogue (right) featured a pair of white S-300 guitars on its front cover. The S-300 was available in a number of different forms. Different wood and pickup combinations, for a much wider range of tones. Guild S-300 mahogany body and neck, two Guild humbucker pickups Guild S-300D mahogany body and neck, DiMarzio PAF and Super Distortion humbuckers Guild S-300A ash body and maple neck, two Guild humbucker pickups Guild S-300AD ash body and maple neck, DiMarzio PAF and Super Distortion humbuckers All models have a 24 fret curved ebony fingerboard, with dot markers (24¾ inch scale), Chesterfield headstock inlay.
