Hello! I am a responsible law student at Lewis and Clark and I am looking for a basement or garage apartment in a residential area. I have experience in caring for young children and teenagers. I would like to find a place in a home with children where some rent could be traded for childcare or supervising older kids when parents are out of town. I have excellent references from landlords and parents and hope I can find a family that is a match. I will be traveling to Portland in July to look at housing, and I would love to meet you if you think we can make an arrangement. Hello, Im a disabled veteran recentlay awarded a section 8 voucher through multinomah county and the VA. Because of multiple deployments my credit is not great, infact its bad. I need a one bedroom house or apartment ASAP. I have more than enough money saved up to pay deposits, first and last, or whatever. If my credit is an issue I can even pay multiple months of rent up front. I would really like a small house or duplex, but at this point anything will do. I dont have any pets, and would be the only resident. Im using this opportunity to turn things around for myself and improve my credit, all I need now is a place.
