With the Territory Manager’s guidance, a Key Account Representative executes a strategy to generate new business, including researching and understanding market trends and competitors. Other duties include following up on requests for information, quotes and orders for additional revenue. The Key Account Representative partners with Inside Sales personnel to resolve customer issues, research, and make recommendations for potential product modifications to increase sales. They also assist with any purchase order challenges and order entry duties when needed. Responsibilities of this position include the following:• Act as the company’s top voice and data network expert and project lead, providing consultation and guidance to all areas including executive management.• Design and develop voice and data network plans for network upgrades and expansion in accordance with company objectives.• Design and implement complex voice and data systems, network configurations and network architecture, including hardware and software technology, site locations, business continuity, disaster recovery, and integration of technologies.• Review analyses and technical feasibility to develop voice and data network deployment strategies.• Assess and review voice and data network growth forecasts and to ensure that business needs are translated into network capacity requirements.• Respond to request for proposals, develops cost estimates, project budgets and resource requirements to meet project needs.• Interface with cross-functional teams throughout the company and assess voice and data network impacts resulting from changing business needs.• Support efforts to resolve the most complex voice and data network problems and incidents through root cause analysis and study of potential network deficits.• Identify and test current conditions and provide recommendations to ensure that the voice and data network infrastructure is positioned to meet business requirements.• Evaluate newer networking technology.Local applicants preferred. Six month contract with extensions possible.Required Skills:• Bachelor’s Degree with an IT, voice and data network or telecommunications focus; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.• 10+ years voice and data networking or general telecommunications experience.• Recognized top expert in voice/data network and IP network technology and best practices.• Expert technical skills including programming, installation, configuration, and network management tools.• Expert analysis and design skills involving the ability to gather data on systems issues, define alternative approaches, assess business impact, recommend cost effective solutions, and develop and implement those solutions.• Extensive expert knowledge of current technologies, tools, applications, and vendors.Preferred Skills:• Understanding of Company’s existing IT environment and of applicable Company policies, practices, and procedures.• Professional certifications - (e.g. ITIL, CCNA, CCIE, CCDP)• Ability to act as technical lead in support of complex voice and data network projects and effectively and diplomatically represent the department internally at all levels of the organization, and externally.For consideration, please email MS Word resumes to recruiter@accent-inc.com and reference title and job ID code.Accent Business Services, Inc. is the Pacific Northwests leading alternative for Information Technology consulting, staff augmentation and software solutions.
