Three days ago I was told by my fellow roommates that our landlord decided that he should fix up the house we are currently living in, so in roughly thirty days I will be without a place to live, so here I am,As far as my style of living I can accommodate to pretty much anything. Hi:I recently came into a regular income from oil that was struck on my familys land down South, but due to tax payments that I have to make in the next 90 days, Im strapped for cash. No drugs (cept you know, caffine, headache meds, you get the idea.) 420 is ok, but, i seldom smoke it. Its not my favorite thing to do. Im a very laid back, open minded kinda person. Im pretty mellowed out. i love portland, this is one of the few towns ive never met a mean person. what else....i love cats, dont mind dogs. long as whomever i live with is clean, quiet, and is respectful of other people, then there is no problem. Hello all! So my situation is that I am leaving at an unknown time in the future (end of March at the earliest) for a new adventure...so I have been saving money by living in an RV! So far I have been cleaning for 10-15 hours per week, depending on need, and paying $1 per load of laundry and 50 cents per bath (I can also use laundromats and the gym/swimming pool for showering). I would only need to plug in to your electricity for lights and internet (if wifi access is available)...I will pay for these amenities as well. I am respectful and I communicate needs openly and come to an agreement that all parties agree to in order to live happily and confusion free in any situation. Male, 26, college educated, have a small savings, am very happy spending my free time in the RV, and also most of my friends and family in Hillsboro, Beaverton, and SE Portland. The RV has new paint white w/ green stripe, NO leaks, is 22ft long, and is perfectly suited for all my needs. I own a small economy car and bicycle for all my running around, to save on gas and hassle. I have it set up so that in about 30 mins I can be ready to drive so whether I stay for three days or a month is of no concern to me. Definitely NOT a drug addict. Drink a couple beers or share a bottle of wine in the evening very occasionally. Just looking to live cheaply, in relative independence, to be as healthy and happy as I can! I have a job lined up starting next week caring for disabled persons at various locations. Other things I can independently do well in exchange for the space and/or ammenities...cooking, pet sitting/walking, childcare, minor auto and home repairs/maintenance, and yardwork. I wrote a fair share as to not waste your time and to give you a good idea of who I am, the logic behind my current lifestyle choice, and what to expect. Hi, I am a 49yr old settled woman. I am on disability from work injuries. I also have section 8. I am reliable and clean. I do not have children. Only a small bird. I live alone and prefer that way. I am in need of some peace and quiet. It seems like no matter where I move I have to tolerate loud music. I always ask before hand if loud music is aloud any time of the day? & am lied to about it. A siren for all Porltanders looking for a roomate. In need of a better living situation for myself, and for my little sweet heart of a dog Kira(blue heeler mix). Quite frankly Im in a bit of predicament here and need somebody to help me out. My current situation is this, I just moved back to Portland from Germany with no possessions other then my clothes. Now I originally planned on staying here for a few days, and then wintering in Puerto Rico, but with the economy being the way it is I came to the conclusion that being stationary here, and setting roots in a city that I love might be the better option for me. Im staying in an icebox of a garage right now, burr, just thinking about it. Its been very inconvenient for me, and for my dog. As far as rent is concerned:I feel like Im in a transitional period right now so I wouldnt be opposed to finding something month/month with a room around $400/month. I have work that I brought with me and do require high-speed wireless Internet access so if you have that, then you have helped me out a ton. I consider myself an ambitious person with lots of spontaneity so I feel like I can fit in anywhere. Well traveled with stays all over Europe and in the states, so there would be no shortage of stories. I enjoy literature, art in all its forms, yoga, cooking(trying) learning about other cultures, finding weird and crazy things to do that require little or no money.
