I have a 2 and 4 year old, but dont foresee them visiting me at location. So far, I have always been meeting them at their home. If separation were to become permanent, I would move out of your place and look for a living situation that could accommodate my kids. For now, I really just want a small room for respite. We are a family consisting of Husband, Wife(pregnant) and a two year old son. We are currently homeless, However have the funds and are able to pay first, last, security deposit, etc. etc... Our homelessness is rooted in an injury at work that led me through surgery, rehabilitation and now partially disabled. We just moved into a house - where part of our deck is enclosed with a white picket fence, however the edge near our front door and front steps is not enclosed. My mother in law is in a wheelchair but can walk a couple steps - but cannot at our place because there is nothing to hold onto. I only need about 3 feet in length of fencing to enclose the rest of the deck so she can have something to use to pull up and walk on her own.If you are remodeling and getting rid of any - I would really like it.If you are near gresham please let us know. So.....my little gremlin managed to sneak into my purse while I was making breakfast and now my cellphone is acting funny. Apparently toddler slobber is cryptonite for cell phones. Our business is remodeling/refurbishing homes or apartments, so a good \"fixer-upper\" house would work for us. We have excellent work references. We have been at our current address for just under 2 years. The house is being placed on the market for sale, and due to \"re-zoning\" that has been done directly behind us, we have decided not to pursue the purchase ourselves. When we moved into this house in August 2007, we completely refurbished it at that time for our current landlord. We did the work, as well as supply the paint and other materials for him in lieu of a security deposit. In fact, we would be happy to show the house to you to demonstrate how we would take care of your home. Two members of our family do smoke, but outside only. We are looking for a long-term arrangement. As I mentioned, we have lived here for almost 2 years. Our previous residence was about 6-1/2 years. We would prefer to begin with a one-year lease. Obviously, due to the recession, the rent would need to be very reasonable. A group of friends are getting together to make blankets for those in need. It is our desire to provide these blankets at intervals throughout the year and also on an emergent basis. Our first scheduled donation is to be mid december in the form of Christmas gifts to a male transistion house and a womens mental health house. This has been a passion of mine for some time and I hope to see it grow in those who make the blankets as well as in those who donate materials and/or funds. We are a group of 5 that will be gathering together 2x monthly to crochet, knit and quilt together as well as doing it on our own. We have some yarn we have purchased to begin but as we are low income and /or disabled we have much more time and expertise to donate than funds. Hopefully we can get help in that area. If you have any material that would be useful for blankets or quilts...or yarn for knitting or crocheting that you would like to donate, please let me know. Preferred would be yarn and larger pieces of material. Smaller pieces of scraps for quilts are welcome but will take longer to make. Please only new, clean materials.
