This bass is black w/ an aged white pickguard. It has two single coil lipstick pickups. A 3-way pickup selector switch, a volume and tone knob, and an aluminum nut (which to my ears creates a great, clear ringing sustain). When playing w/ both pickups on the bass is loud, deep, and punchy. In a side-by-side comparison I did with a Kramer Aluminum neck bass (w/ humbuckers) and a Squier Jazz bass, the Danos tone had a ton more life, presence, and balls. The neck pickup has a deep bass tone. The bridge pickup soloed has a vintage 60s sound, like the bass one might hear on a Beach Boys album. Im will include a HSC w/ this bass for an extra $25.. These basses are no longer in production, so they will soon become difficult to find. We recently got a new desk and are getting rid of the old one because its too small for our needs. Its in great shape, has wheels to move around that lock in place when youre situated, some marks where the computer mouse was sliding around. -----> $15Also, we were given a new microwave that is bigger than our old one. This extra large black long haired sheepskin 2 pelt has been slept on about 4 times by a lady in silk pajamas in front of the cozy fire place. Has been packed in a box for 2 years.
