Struggling Home Owner Needs Bed - $1 (South Eugene) South Eugene 2009-07-01 5:13PM
My house is in foreclosure and was to be sold on June 22. I have 10 days to get out after the sale. I called the day before the sale and was told it had been postponed until July 22nd, which gives me til about August 1st til I have to leave. I had my house for sell for 2 years and couldnt sell it. I have sold every thing I owned that was worth anything and only have 3 office chairs and 3 lamps and 3 end tables for furniture in my 3 bedroom 2 bath house. I have been sleeping in a seeping bag on a foam pad for about 18 months or so and my back is killing me. Im an honest person and live alone. I have owned my house for 30 years. I have been thinking how great it will be once I can sleep in a real bed again. If you have a decent bed, with no bed bugs, I could use it . The Pleasant Hill Fire Department has just recently began an Axillary team. This team will provide support to the Firefighters and EMTs of this department. Their responsibility is to respond when requested to provide food, drinks, supplies and other support during incidents in which these things are needed. Examples would be large fires, rescue operations, busy days during foul weather and during any form of natural disasters. (flooding and wind storms) This team is being assembled now with local residents who dont want to fight fire, but do however want to volunteer their help. HERES WHERE YOU COME IN!The team currently needs a fridge/freezer to store drinks and other cold supplies to be ready for these events. We currently do not have the space in our volunteers fridge for any more supplies. We would appreciate a donated fridge, or at a very reasonable expense. If you have a quality working fridge that you need to get rid of, and wouldnt mind donating that would be perfect! It is possible that we could work out a deal for a well priced good quality machine. The Tank width is 15 3/4 inches and the depth is 24 3/4inches the length is 5ft the total height of the tank and stand is 50 inches top to bottom. It is estimated with the water and stand fully set up the weight is over 1000lbs. This tank will come with 2 lights 48 inches long, white bottom rocks, ornaments, 2 filters 60 gal each, Large rocks, Drift wood. 2 heaters one 150 watts the other 200 watts.
