This is unbelievable... Saturday, we were able to find homes for our two roosters, only to wake up Sunday morning to two more of our chicks crowing! No roosters are allowed in Forest Grove, so I hope someone will like these chicks as much as we do! We have one Barred Rock rooster, and one Americana (we think). They are both beautiful birds, and we would love to keep them if we could. Please dont call if your intention is to eat the roosters! The chicks are 11-weeks-old, and have been kept in a chicken tractor in our back yard eating a combonation of grass/weeds, bugs and crumble. The first picture is the Barred Rock at about 7 weeks. The second picture is the young version of the Americana, and the third picture is the Americana just recently. It is really important that we find homes for these fellas soon... If our neighbors complain about the crowing, we could get a $1000 fine! Because of this, we have needed to keep them in cages in our basement to muffle their sound. Canter Ridge Cobalt is a 3 year old colt foaled 7-6-06. Sire is many times champion Tide Creek Jack Frost (13.2 H) and dam is Windridge Zena (13 H). Currently Cobalt stands about 12.2 H but he has some more growing as his rump is shooting up again. He has beautiful suspension and extension and is a gorgous mover. If somebody had the knowledge and experience he would probably make an outstanding show prospect. Would look very nice too as a cart pony. This is a very nice antique saddle by Woford. I have not measured, but it fits like a 15.5\" saddle and has a nice, smooth seat. Full tooling, QH bars, fit my paint very nicely. I dont know how old it is, just that it is antique. The fleece is in great shape, bars are not broken at all. I will try to get better pics soon. Price is slightly negotiable, especially if you have a trade that I need, but I paid way more for this just 1.5 yrs ago and only used it two times and then as a decoration since then. Seat sits fairly deep and has nice swells that keep a person seated well. Comes with front and rear billets, and I am able to throw in a cinch for nothing extra. Fairly light weight for its age and style, and I have kept it very oiled so leather is not cracking or hard. She loads, clips, baths, is great with her feet and no problem with other horses. She used to be a barrel horse and Im told, good !! at it. She is very athletic and has a lot of energy. I hate to sell her, but I am looking for a more laid back kinda horse that has had many miles on the trail and would be a good canidate for trail trails competition and Im sorry to say Scout is a little to anxious for that. She would be a great horse for gaming, or I believe she would be a wonderful rail horse. She is very smooth and has lope you could ride all day long (make any rider look good). I have a Sears Ridling lawn mower model LT 8/36 with a 4 speed transmission that has been stored for the last few years that I no longer need since I was given another one that is now taking up space in my storage shed. I have made upgrade/repairs to this mower since I aquired it about 7 years ago. First off it origionally had a 8 HP Tecumseh motor in it that went south so I aquired a good used Briggs and Stratton 11 HP motor and it bolted right in. It made a good increase in power when I cut 6 \" tall grass, and it does not bog down. It has a 36\" cutting deck with new quills installed (cutting blade axle assemblies) and cuts nice and even. Has a brand new battery, new rear axle drive chain, new drive belts for both transmission and cutting deck, and new brake pads for rear axle.
