1989 Jeep Cherokee Laredo....we drove this rig for about 2 years...put a ton of work into it...new fuel injectors, brakes, tires, heater core, water pump, etc...has a stereo and great tires!It ran fine until the cold weather hit...we think it needs a new battery or has starter issue. The 4 wheel drive works great and so does the air conditioning.There are few issues: one door doesnt work, needs new shocks for rear hatch ($25 at junk yard) and you have to open drivers door from from front passenger side....But..this would make a great project for someone on the know on fix ups...cheap parts at the junk yard...and would run great as a muddin rig or getting fire wood.First $300 takes it! This 1951 Chevy has been a yard car since I pulled it off the road in 1993. I purchased it in 1976. Its first 25 years was on a farm in NE California. I rebuilt the engine in 1979. It was used for getting firewood for the following eight years. We we moved to Oregon I dorve it 5 miles to and from work until we got a new car. I think the engine has about 10-15 k on it. The rest of the drvetrain is original. The body is solid, however there are dents in just about every panel and fender. But all are fixable. 10 years after I stoped driving it I spent an afternoon putting gas and power to it and it started up. I am guessing the same would be true today. I am selling it as is.
