This ad is for a room for rent in a nice clean house close to campus. Renter will share a bathroom with one other person. The house is close to campus, roughly 2.5 miles by bicycle or car. A bus stop is across the street from house. House has central air conditioning, cable broadband Internet, washer/dryer, 802.11g WiFi, in each room. The room in question has a skylight, and please disregard the bed in the pictures, the room is unfurnished. No smokers, no pets, fish/reptiles OK. Rent pays partial water & electricity each month in addition to the rent. Water is capped at $40 per month and electricity is capped at $45 per month. If use on either of these exceeds cap, then both renters split the difference. As an example: Water bill is $50 for the month and electricity is $55 for the month. This is a combined excess of $20 above each capped utility. My name is Matthew and I am going to be a sophmore at OSU starting in the Fall. I currently have a place staked out at Trinity Court which is located just behind the OSU Newman Center on Monroe. Would prefer a Christian or even better, a Catholic roomate to share expenses for the 09-10 academic year. The lease is for one year, but depending on when we would want to move in, the rent is prorated for the summer. The management of Trinity Court would like a lease to be signed at the beginning of July. There is a gas fireplace but we dont really use it.The house is about a 10-minute walk to campus, or a 2-minute bike, great for students. Its a quiet and safe neighborhood with plenty of parking around the house and in the driveway. Theres a large fenced backyard with lots of greenery if youre interested in gardening. Also, there are BBQ grills and a fire pit in the backyard, great for entertaining. Lots of space to move around the house. There are 2 guys and a girl living here right now, and the 4th roommate can be either a girl or a guy; we have no preference.Rent is $415/month, and utilities (electricity/gas/water/sewer/garbage/tv/internet) are split evenly, which usually comes down to about $115/person/month. Summer sublet starting the 12th of June through August 31st with possibility of renewing for a year lease. The room is medium size on the main floor in a 5br/2ba house which was remodeled last fall. The house has a large back yard with a shed for bikes, large covered patio, small garden, pear, plum, and cherry trees. There is plenty of driveway/street parking, currently all 5 of us have vehicles and it is not a problem. It is also very close to campus and takes about two minutes to get to the library by bike, I dont know about walking because I bike everywhere. The house is occupied by nice, quite roommates, 4 girls and one guy(me) who dont drink/smoke and are looking to maintain the houses quite atmosphere. There is one small dog, slightly larger than a chihuahua, cats are ok, small dogs are most likely ok also. If you have a pet I can ask the owner and get back to you quickly. Female or male roommate wanted, 18-22, all roommates are 20-21 right now. Rent is normally 350/mo + utilities which usually come out to 40-50$/ea including cable and internet. Washer/dryer in the house as well as a nice new kitchen. As stated above it might be possible to take over the lease starting september 1st as I will not be returning. For the summer only one person will be living there full time, two will be returning in August, and two are moving out. Four graduate students are looking to fill the last room in a large house. There is currently a bed (fate to be decided), and a cupboard-like thing in this large room. The garage is full of bikes and the garden is (getting) full of vegetables. We are all laid back people, into the outdoors generally, bikes and hikes and camping and gardening and fishing and running and some disc golf....The house is at the southern terminus of the bike trail that goes from Avery Park through crystal lake sports fields. About a 20 minute easy commute by bike in the morning. We are three guys, mid-late 20s and one girl. Also one young golden retriever who lives in his dog house but comes in and lays on his mat while we are inside, so if you have dog allergies this may not be the place for you but otherwise he is the friendliest dog I have ever met. At this point we are saying no additional pets please.....although if you have something that can remain outside and not dig the vegetables up we may be willing to reconsider.....We enjoy socializing, but our family-oriented neighbourhood is not amenable to loud parties. No smoking inside.Utilites average from 30-50 dollars a month depending on the time of year.We try and keep the house clean but we are not clean freaks. We like everybody to do their part though.There are two shared bathrooms, one of them with a bath/shower. Two people use another, ensuite one, so the others are shared between three.We have wireless, lots of bike tools, a kegerator, and some hammocks which we lay in on hot summer days. Also you must be ok with a cat in the home.This resident gentleman needing a companion is very sweet, affable, easy-going, tidy, and active spending a lot of time out of the home. He doesnt have either physical issues or significant emotional issues. He is really quite stable with just some mild memory/confusion issues. The gentleman has a conservator as well as the guardian who provides the foster care home for him.As this residents roommate you will receive two private rooms, a private bath, all utilities, internet service, laundry facilities, and meals prepared and served (if you desire)....just like in a restaurant! Your rooms and bath are located at the opposite side of a really nice, newer, mobile home in downtown Corv. The large kitchen, dining and living room are the shared common areas. You will have an enormous amount of free time and privacy but must be available to drive the resident when asked (night driving is required now and then) and you must be clean and tidy yourself and help in keeping the common areas of the home clean. Our roommate is moving out feb 14th and so this means we need a roommate ASAP!! :o) Since she is moving out in the middle of the month she will be paying for half of the rent for the month of febuary leaving $180 still needing to be paid. The rent for the month of febuary will be $180 plus a prorated amount for utilities. The following months will be back to its normal amount of $360 plus utilities which cost around $60 a month. The lease will go through the month of June.This is a three bedroom house off of Grant st. It is about a short 8 mintutes to campus on bike and about 15-20 walking. We have a nice living room and a huge garage for storage with a washer and dryer and a big back yard. My roommate Rachel and I are both attending OSU and are very easy going and laid back.
