I have a 1993 Ford Taurus Wagon that was until recently my wifes daily driver. She got a new van and we have to many vehicles. This one has got to go.The good: 154K Miles, great strong running engine and transmission. Very reliable, I wouldnt hesitate to drive this car any where.Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Door locks, Power Seats. AC, Tilt wheel. Good tread on tires.The not so good: The windshield has a crack in it. Both the front and rear bumpers have some cosmetic issues. It does need a battery, theres one in it now for test driving from another car I have, but its a little too tall and the hood wont shut. Tags are expired. Have title in hand.Other than that its a great looking car thats very straight. It does need a good cleaning inside and out. Great family car.I would like to trade this for a street legal motorcycle. This is a Mercury outboard motor. I estimate the value to be $400. I am looking to trade for a small travel trailer, plasma cutter or other construction/excavation type of equipment. It is a Mercruiser 75, so it is 7.5 HP. I don’t know the year. I bought it last year thought I would use it on my little boat. The shallow draft of my boat really does not need a long shaft and makes it a little inconvenient to get into very shallow areas that little boats are good for. Just like the description says, this is a smaller older Aluminum boat. I estimate the value at $600 as it sits, or $900 with the long shaft outboard motor listed seperately in the barter section. I would be interested in trading for a travel trailer or plasma cutter. Maybe other construction/excavation stuff, so if you are interested in a little run around or hunting boat, let me know what you have. It currently has a camouflage paint job that I assume the last owner did for duck hunting. It is in good shape for its age, and is very sturdy and ready for the water. The transom wood could probably be replaced, but it has always held the motor on, so I have not messed with it. It has the foam filler under the seats, so I don’t think you could sink it if you tried. I have had it out crabbing in Newport and Waldport, and it has done fine. The sides are not very high, so I don’t think I would try that if the weather is rough. Rivers, lakes and reservoirs are never a problem in my experience. There is one small dent up towards the front that one of the pictures shows. This has probably been there since the Nixon Administration, and it does not affect the structure of the boat. The boat has a 4 hp Eska outboard. It ran fine for a long time, then a while back it was having problems staying running after it was started. This was right about the time they started putting Ethanol in the gas, and I did not realize that the Ethanol had a water condensation issue. I THINK that is the problem, but I am not an outboard motor mechanic. It also has a Minn Tonka 28 lb trolling motor with a brand new battery and Marine battery case. That is fine for trolling around, but you don’t want to try to use it going against a strong current. The trailer has new LED lights, and fresh bearings. It does not have bearing buddies, but the bearings and packing are so new that I don’t think it makes sense to put them on right away. I had a little fall in Waldport and broke some bones (mine not anything structural on the trailer) when the bearings started failing on one side, and the excellent repair shop did the bearing replacement on both sides for me. The trailer itself is about the same vintage as the boat. It has full size wheels and tires with a spare. The tires may be 20 years old, and with the weather checking should be replaced. This trailer is very strong, and I have been tempted to keep it to use for hauling other construction-type loads and leaning the boat up behind the garage if it does not sell. It is obviously much stronger than it needs to be to haul around a 200 pound load. I have a specially made custom boat dolly that I made for the boat. It is really great for taking the boat to out of the way lakes and locations where boat ramps are not available. You might be surprised how many awesome locations there are that you can wheel this boat down a hiking trail and launch anywhere that makes the time, distance, inconvenience and expense of a boat ramp seem silly. You can get to places with a small boat that leave others on the bank, or spending half of their time getting launched and out to where the action is. I don’t know about you, but if I am getting up early to go fishing, I don’t want to waste that valuable early time getting where I want to be on the water.
