CPA firm seeks a career-minded full-time, results and team-oriented professional.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:Post cash receipts, check disbursements and other original information (or supervise clerical personnel in these tasks)Reconcile bank accountsPrepare and post general and adjusting entriesPrepare monthly financial statementsPrepare monthly workpapers to firm specificiationsPrepare annual trial balance and workpapers sufficient to prepare income tax returnsPrepare payroll for multiple clients, based on information supplied from clientPrepare and submit payroll tax deposits and payroll reportsPrepare other monthly and/or annual client filingsLiason with multiple clients regarding accounting and payroll issuesOther duties as assignedRequires the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, superiors and clients. Must be able to work under pressure. Works well in team environment, with the spirit of cooperation. Takes direction and constructive feedback from supervisor. Must have experience in at least two accounting programs, one of which may be Quickbooks. Must have reasonable knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
