The dress is a Size 12. I am 55 and weighed just under 170 pounds when I wore it. I did not need to have it altered. I did have the work done for the bustle in the back (cost $80.00.)Bustle is so the train can be tucked up. Dress has not be professionally cleaned since worn. It is not visibly dirty and could be worn as is. Also, my Brother-in-Law stepped on the back during the reception and pulled one of the bustle buttons on the inside (this did not cause any damage to the dress and can be worn without it being fixed). This is a Pronovias gown named Orange. I bought this gown made some alterations and then decided to delay the wedding. Isnt that like life? :) So in the delay time I found a different dress that goes with the new wedding weve decided to have and dropped a couple dress sizes. However, I work with a seamstress who says its completely do-able to bring it down to even a 2 or 4 and it might be able to be let out some.
