I have three really nice two year old AQHA red dun fillies. They were raised in the Paisely country, in the mountians and rocks, so they know how to handle themselves. All three were halter broke as weanlings then turned out until last week, at which time they were caught, haltered, wormed and vacinated. I have an almost 3 year old dun gelding. He is registered AQHA and hes really cute. He is not broke AT ALL. He has a halter and a lead rope on him that look like they have been on him since he was 1. He rears and strikes when you push him to do anything. He is WAY more of a project than I bargained for. He needs someone that knows how to train horses really well, or he needs to go to a rodeo. I was told he could be worth thousands of dollars when he is trained. I cant do it. The place where he is from rounds up all the babies at 1 year into chutes. They mess with them for 30 days, and then send them back into the 160 acres until they are 2 1/2 or 3 years old. I got him about 2 months ago. I cant keep him any longer or else he will just be a pasture horse for life, and I dont want that kind of a horse unless it is one that I have had for my whole life. He needs shots. Cant give them to him with him the way he is. He also needs to be dewormed. He seems to be really smart, and like he could learn quickly. I just cant be the one to teach him. Call 541-233-4348.
