Commercial wood framing subcontractor is seeking an experienced individual to complete hardware and lumber take-offs. Can be a full time or part time position depending on your availability. We are looking for someone who is diligent, thorough and who has prior experience in doing take offs for wood framing, lumber and hardware. Please email resume to jmoore@hamesframing.com. Duties: •Implements software quality processes, develop quality standards. •Develop analysis methodology for reporting test results corrective actions. •Leads effort to implement testing and automation system. Skills: •Ability to identify, record and troubleshoot defects effectively. •Ability to use programming best practices to create reusable, extensible tests and automation code for a particular product. •Performs software test suite development and test automation tasks •Experience testing network/application/firmware on Windows and Linux is necessary. •Extensive experience with SW Test Development. •Experience generating and implementing test plans. •Coding skills in QTP or Java could provide additional benefit. Ideal Candidate will have an M.S. in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. This is a 6 month to 1 year position. FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY FOR AN ESTABLISHED, SUCCESSFUL, AND GROWING COMPANY IN BEND, OREGONOverview: Performs Electrical Design & Manufacturing / Testing support for Power Systems. Under minimal supervision the ideal candidate will coordinate with project leaders and colleagues to determine the need for and design / implement electrical components and subsystems systems that satisfy the industry’s safety and performance standards. In addition to design this position includes significant hands on support and trouble shooting of wiring systems and sensors. Prototyping /Breadboarding skills with discrete components and microprocessors are considered a plus. This position will involve working with high energy electrical devices such as batteries or utility connections.Responsibilities:• Prepare prototypes and component assemblies and systems that meet establishedspecifications• Design and build component test fixtures and test plans• Conduct and report on experiments and tests• Provide first line of engineering support for manufacturing assembly and field service• Troubleshoot and repair circuit boards to the component level• Support and interface with agency testing• Design and layout simple PCBA’s• Research component technologies and trade offsRequired Qualifications: • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering. Associates Degree considered with significantand relevant experience• 6+ years experience in product development or manufacturing• Ability to trouble-shoot analog and digital electronics• Experience with light programming in C or assembly• Knowledge of proper electrical manufacturing techniques (soldering, wire layout,terminations, etc)• Knowledge of Capture and Layout packages• High Level of Competence in working with PC’s in an Engineering Environment• Knowledge of Electrical Instrumentation (O-scopes, meters, etc)Desired Qualifications:• Experience with EMC concepts and measurement techniques• Power Supply Design• ESD Handling Methods• New Product Introduction Location: CENTRAL OREGON Compensation: DOEPrincipals only.
