Hello, I recently moved to the Bend area and had an apartment lined up. But when I got here I found out it was a Section 8 housing. So I did not take the place. So instead I am looking for a room to rent available to move into today or this week. I can pay the first and last months rent up front and have a steady income. I am pretty quiet, very clean and like to have social roomates, I am an outdoorsy type who spends all my sunny days outside and usually my evenings at home. I love pets and music. Did you know that there is NO help out there for a single mom of a 15 month old who survives only off of a little bit of child support and food stamps and who works for $4 an hour doing child care in her home to try to pay the bills. I have called every number possible and there are currently no funds or they are not accepting applications at this time. Does anybody know something that I dont? Any ideas? Any work? Hello, my name is Kurt. I am a 27yo swm moving to bend on the 10th. I have no kids, no drugs, no pets, and a non smoker.
